CQR Men's Flex Ripstop Tactical Pants, Water Resistant Stretch Cargo Pants, Lightweight EDC Hiking Work Pants

Solid work pants
Upon receiving these I immediately put them to use, wearing them for a week straight on an oddball retrofit framing project that involved a lot of climbing, crawling on hands and knees, crouching in compact spaces and other contortions. They not only held up in perfect condition, but were so comfortable to wear that I barely wanted to take them off at the end of the day (wearing them now too). The gusseted crotch and overall fit gave them much more ease of movement than the typical Carhartt, while the rugged poly-cotton ripstop fabric felt so much lighter, cooler and more breathable than cotton duck, keeping me from overheating while climbing, crawling and running tools high up in a warm building. The elastic waistband is a great comfort feature that lets me wear them without a belt while not feeling restricted or uncomrtable while sitting and crouching. I've even started thinking about wearing them on cool weather hikes and trail runs, outdoor martial arts practice, hunting, landscaping and gardening around the property and other outdoor stuff that requires a bit of athleticism. The fit was true to size. The color I ordered, "dark brown" is just that, a rich dark mocha color that I love. The gusseted legs help taper the pants down from the roomy waistline and hips and thighs, to a regular fit straight leg at the bottom, making them look and feel roomy and yet not overly baggy. The stitching patter around the knees makes it look like they have a double layer of fabric for reinforcement, but I am pretty sure it is only one layer of fabric, which I have mixed feelings about.I don't love the size and placement of some of the pockets though. There is a right front slash pocket to the front of the main hand pocket that looks like it should be a phone pocket but is too narrow for my phone. I've been using it to hold a pencil, sharpie and retractable utility knife, tho for some reason it doesn't comfortably hold my folding blade EDC pocket knife. And placement is too much to the front for a good phone pocket since anything in that pocket will rub or bang against whatever awkward project you are working on. There is a left front mini-cargo pocket to the front of that hand pocket. It has flap closure with hook and loop and I am not sure what else it is good for other than a pistol mag. Since I am not in the habit of carrying pistol mags while at work, I have tried a number of other items including phone, pocket knife, keys, sunglasses etc. This pocket is too narrow for the phone and wallet, too short for sunglasses and utility knife, and everything else I have put in there has felt lumpy or kinda loose and jumbly against the thigh. I would like to see a pair of pants like this with a phone sized slash pocket along with a pencil and folding knife pocket pocket on one side of the leg, and a cargo pocket on the other side. A zippered stash pocket next to the main hand pocket for those can't lose items would also be welcomed. All in all, a great pair of work pants in my book, since I hate the heaviness and restricted feeling of the typical Carhartt-type pants. Even if the tactical pockets are lost on me, I am tempted to try other products from this company, and am definitely going to look for other work pants made with this type of fabric and cut.

Love these pants
Great quality, stretch waist, pockets for everything, lightweight, breathable, great color selection, adequate room in the frontal region, good zippers. I now own several pairs of these.

Tuff and good lookin!
I like em, the material is light and don’t look like they’re gonna stain like my Dickies, they look good and professional, they’re extremely comfortable. They have room in all the right places. You can wear em to church and then go climb a mountain, plenty of pockets to put your stuff in. There’s different styles and colors. They’re 50 bucks, that’s kinda expensive to me, but maybe they’ll last and not stain so easily. I’d give em five stars if they was about 10 bucks cheaper, but they are a nice pair of britches, I guess you get what you pay for. I like them and would recommend them.

Perfect
I’m a big guy and I have to say you did a great job on these pants. Perfect fit, tough material yet soft enough for comfort, pockets are nice and useful.

Comfortable
These pants are comfortable, durable, breathable and lightweight. Move really easily and fit nicely. I think the price point is pretty fair considering the product holds up really well. Great for security job, paint balling, shooting, hiking, you name it. No regrets buying these pants.

Great product over-all.
The pants fit great, especially with the elastic waist band. The material is durable and has a great fit that allows for ease of movement. It cost a little more than other similar products, but the quality makes it worth the slightly higher price. I definitely recommend this product.

These are ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC
Being the fact that bigger sized combat styled pants are a commodity few and far between I’m very impressed with the quality and design that these pants have. The fabric isn’t to rigid and fairly breathable with an overall pant leg that has some space for the thigh to not get friction burnt.I can maneuver over multiple terrain styles with little to no discomfort and being as lightweight as it is it’s definitely a great choice for anyone looking for a comfortable Combat Style solution for any choice of outdoor hobbiesThe pockets have a lot of space for anything you may need I can carry around a decent surplus without looking like a marshmallow.Shape conforms from a standing to crouch very easily and again with little to no issue. The only issue being the Color fades after the first wash.I will definitely recommend this product!!!

Metal button is almost 1cm thick and uncomfortable under a belt.
Pants fit fine, bend well at the knees and stretch slightly in the waist, great for mobility. The pocket placement is nice as well, with the cargo pockets angled a bit to stuff doesn't all slide out if you open them seated/crouching. The main metal button has a tall stalk making it almost 1cm thick, and any belt will press it into your belly which gets very uncomfortable after a couple hours. A huge let down on otherwise good pants.
