The touchpad installation is a bit tricky, but the result looks amazing and functions perfectly—no issues at all! However, unless you’re experienced with disassembly and reassembly, I’d recommend not skipping any steps and proceeding with caution.

Looks great and fits nearly perfectly. The only reason I didn't give it 5 starts is because the fitment is not perfect and some gaps are a bit larger than the standard shell. Also where the rubber grips are originally, there's a bit of a sharp lip where the plastic on this shell protrudes which is noticeable but not a huge issue for me.Would recommend, looks fantastic!

Frickin' fantastic! Took me a little longer than I'd have liked but it's AWESOME. Also allows you to use the D-Pad an buttons from the original Edge...I transplanted those over with this shell and it looks great. You can also use the eXtremeRate rear grip things as well which fit seamlessly.

Love eXtremeRate products. I think these clear shells look dope and are well worth it. Plus they don’t have the rubber grips that eventually peels off like the original shell. They def give off a nostalgic vibe and are reasonably priced. They fit great, if not it’s usually due to user error. My only dislike are the buttons and triggers. They all have the same markings and just feel cheap. I only use their buttons when I buy their lighting kits. But in all honesty the original buttons look great with the clear shell so it’s not a huge deal. The kit lacks instructions but they have their own step by step instructions on YouTube if needed. When it comes to ps5 controllers shell swaps aren’t difficult but they are tedious. I think the effort is worth it though. Highly recommend this product
