Southern Ag Start Root & Bloom Water Soluble Fertilizer 10-30-20, 1 LB

Easy to use and has made my newly acquired Boojum Tree gain many new leaves. Recommended to me by member of AZ Cactus and Succulent Society!

I'm sure this is a good formulation, but with a 1 pound package, it goes very fast... at a relatively high cost per lb. We used up 1 lb. in roughly 2 feedings of 5 container plants and a scattering of foundation plantings.Unfortunately, the white salts in my package resisted going into solution, and I made the mistake of attempting foliar feeding. The plants don't like the white solids deposited on their leaves and the leaves burn, but to be fair, foliar feeding requires a water solution. We just couldn't get the white solids portion to dissolve in the water, despite vigorous mixing. A competitive 10-30-20 is about 1/3 less expensive & mixes quickly, so we'll stick with that in the future.

This fertilizer has the ratios that a university study suggests for tomatoes, which is why I picked it. My plants look so amazing getting a boost from this. Can't wait for harvest! Came back to order another bag, to make certain I have enough for the season.
