Love these bags! They work great for holding items while going camping or backing packing including food or clothing and keeping them dry and clean. They are very durable, holding up when being thrown around or being dirty (easy to clean too!). They are light weight so they won’t add extra to your pack. Overall a very great product.

Just got back from a beach trip and there were some things that I needed to bring near water that I really didn't want to get wet. Granted, I was not completely submerging any of them (just needed to ensure that an occasional light splash of water wouldn't ruin the items inside), and a couple of these bags (the two larger ones) were being used in conjunction with other waterproofing items...sort of a safeguard on top of a safeguard on top of a safeguard, with these drybags serving as the first layer of defense.I have a REI dry sack that feel similar in terms of thickness, and these bags function in the same way (roll-down top and buckle closed). But I only had (1) 10L bag & needed more; particularly the two larger sized ones from this set.You get a 2L / 8L / 10L / and 20L for just a little bit more than I spent on just (1) 10L drybag, so this is a really good value. Just make sure that your expectations are realistic -- these are not going to offer protection in fully submerged situations, but are handy to have if you're in a situation where some water (whether rain, or on a boat, etc.) may be present.Since I had a higher likelihood of water, I used these bags in conjunction with IPX rated storage solutions to make a "fortress of waterproofing"...if one fails for any reason, there's another line of defense. If that fails, there's another. This bag served as the first line, since all of the items inside of their respective fully waterpoof cases were stored inside of these bags. And it worked well for that purpose.A little over the top? Maybe, but to me, not if I didn't want phones, cameras, etc. getting ruined by water.Nothing inside of the bags got wet, and while that wasn't FULLY due to these bags, they helped as the first line of defense.
