There is no way what I was sent was 8.2 carats as it claims to be. It is so tiny, I really can’t do anything with this stone. I thought that was a good value, but it turns out it was a complete rip off. Please beware!

I LOVE opals, and these raw opals are gorgeous! (I ordered several, so I'm not sure which review goes with which stone.) All of them have great color, or "fire", and the dust is very easy to clean off with an old toothbrush and toothpaste. I'm definitely keeping my eye out for more of these!

The opal looks much larger in the photo but is actuallyquite small! The photo also makes the piece look likeit has more opal area Photothan it does.

Such a minuscule portion of the opal was visible and very tiny. Sad as my Grandson expected at least somewhat similar to the photo.

Even wet, these rocks show no flash from the opal. Very disappointing. Should have returned them.
