mind the gap.
Cleaning this is a nightmare, there is a decent size gap all around so anything can fall in and get stuck.You will need to dismantle it to clean it properly the plates are not removable.I tried making chaffles and the fat from the cheese leaked a little, all went in the gaps and started leaking from the bottom where the cable exits.

It’s not non stick!
Don’t believe the claims that it’s non-stick, you definitely need oil otherwise you’ll end up with this mess
