Reasonably good warmer. So far has survived spilled coffee and having heavy things put on it. Bought for elderly family and it was hard for them to figure out, mostly because it’s hard to see the controls if you have dimmer visual acuity. But we got it set for the morning coffee now and it’s easy to turn on and off. Very glad it has a timer setting. Will go off if they forget to turn it off.

I got this to put next to my husband's computer. He works at home and drinks coffee throughout the day. I was in the office when he took a sip today after setting it up for the first time. He went "whoa" because he'd gotten accustomed to his coffee going cold while he worked, and was surprised it still tasted fresh from the pot! That's a big win in my book. I looked at several different models and this seemed to have all the features I wanted without being overly complex, and looks sleek and unobtrusive, next to his computer.

We got this as a gift and the person absolutely loved it! They immediately plugged it in and with in 5 mins of playing with it, appeared to master the different functions.It gets very hot and keeps an open ended coffee hot all day long.Best part is now I have a gift idea to give to more people in the office!Highly recommend.

Make sure you put your fresh coffee on it when you have it ready. It doesn't reheat, it keeps it warm. Learned from my 30 minute wait for hot coffee haha.

I was looking forward to getting this because my tea gets cold so fast in the morning. I use a larger mug that has a very slightly concave bottom, and while this keeps my tea “warm” on the highest setting, it’s not entirely hot. I suspect that a mug with a completely flat bottom might produce better results. Given that this is due to the mug and not the product, I still gave 5 stars, but it is important to keep in mind based on the design of your mug!

I've wanted an Ember mug for probably two years. The idea that my coffee could stay hot longer than an hour was always appealing to me. I do not have $250 to spend on a single mug.I took a chance on this $30 mug warmer. You can adjust the temperature, you can set it on a timer, and best of all it does work to keep your drinks hot.I will give one warning: it heats from the bottom of your mug so if you enjoy holding the handle and having the mug sit on your hand don't do that with this product. The mug gets very warm at the bottom and if you have less coffee or tea or hot water in your drink, reduce the temperature a couple of levels, cause it can be a little bit too hot to drink. It fits all my mugs too. I got the dark wood one.That being said, I have no desire for an ember mug anymore because I have this little beauty. I love it. It works for me 10 out of 10.

I used an old mug warmer for 25 years before it finally started to give up the ghost. So when I started looking for a new one, I was amazed at the really nice stylish mug warmers listed on Amazon and took me a while to pick one out. I went with this one because of the temperature control and the timer.It's BIG, but it does look nice on my desk, and not only does it keep the coffee warm, the highest setting will actually reheat a cup. (albeit slowly but it'll do it)There is only 4 temperature settings, but that is all I need. It can also stay on up to 12 hours.The warmer is glass, so be careful setting a ceramic mug on it.I really love it and I'm glad I got it!

Draw back is that you need a flat bottom mug for it to work effectively. mugs with a dome at the bottom barely warm up

This mug warmer is one of the best recent purchases. I like to slowly sip my coffee/tea and it gets cold much faster than I want, so this keeps it at a good temperature. With multiple temperature options, it's literally perfect.For someone that doesn't own a microwave, it is perfect for reheating drinks, melting butter quick, or warming candles without the flame.Make sure you use a mug with a flat base so that the surfaces can actually transfer heat.
