Review: Versatile and convenient hands-free leash - The Kurgo Quantum 6-in-1 leash is one of the most useful dog leashes I’ve owned. It easily converts between different styles — regular leash, shorter training length, over-the-shoulder, and around the waist for true hands-free walking or running. The adjustments are quick and simple with the carabiner system. I especially like the hands-free options. Being able to wear it as a waist belt or over the shoulder makes walks and jogs much more comfortable, and my hands stay free. The padded handle is a nice touch, the reflective trim is helpful in low light, and the nylon feels durable. Overall, a well-designed, practical leash that adapts to different situations. Highly recommend if you want one leash that can do multiple jobs. Review: Hands-Free Heaven. Absolute Game Changer. - I genuinely can’t say enough good things about this leash. It has completely ruined other leashes for me because nothing else even comes close. The design is incredibly well thought out. The loops run the entire length, which makes it unbelievably versatile. With a simple carabiner, you can clip it to itself and instantly turn it into a hands-free shoulder leash, a waist belt for dog walks, or adjust it in countless other ways depending on what you need. It’s also reflective, which gives me extra peace of mind during early morning and evening walks, and the construction is rock solid. It feels incredibly durable without being bulky, and I never question whether it’s going to hold up. This is one of those rare products where you immediately think, “Why isn’t every leash made like this?” It’s worth every single penny, and I honestly don’t see myself ever buying another style of leash again. If this one somehow disappeared tomorrow, I’d order a replacement without thinking twice. Absolutely outstanding. ## Features - 6-IN-ONE-USE: This award winning and best selling dog leash converts into 6 different styles with a simple carabiner adjustment: (1) around the waist, (2) over the shoulder courier style, (3) double dog leash, (4) versatile tether to help hitch your dog to anything, (5) 6 foot leash, and (6) 3 foot training leash - HANDS FREE DOG BELT: Dog leash can be used everyday for walking, running, and hiking; easily wear this leash around your waist for extra mobility; hands free feature allows you to use your hands for other things; this feature allows your dog to run or walk in front of you, or beside you, without breaking your stride or making you feel like you're stepping on your pup's paws - ADJUSTABLE REFLECTIVE DOG LEASH: Leash is adjustable from 48-72” (measurement includes handle); pet leash is reflective for visibility in low light and in the dark; made of strong nylon webbing - LIFETIME WARRANTY: Product comes with hassle-free Kurgo Lifetime Warranty against manufacturer defects when purchased new from authorized dealer; for questions, please contact Kurgo Customer Service at 877-847-3868 - INCLUDED WEB KEEPER: Use the bungee cord to store keys, glow sticks, flashlight, doggie bags, and more! ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0CG9X69KX | | Best Sellers Rank | #31,636 in Pet Supplies ( See Top 100 in Pet Supplies ) #34 in Dog Hands Free Leashes | | Brand | Kurgo | | Brand Name | Kurgo | | Closure Type | Carabiner Clip | | Color | Violet | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 3,297 Reviews | | Dog Breed Size | All | | Global Trade Identification Number | 30729849177476 | | Included Components | 1 x Quantum Leash | | Item Highlight | Hands Free Leash Converts to Waist Belt, Over Shoulder, Double Leash, Tether, 6ft or 3ft Lead, Reflective, Carabiner Clip | | Item Length | 72 inches | | Item Type Name | Outdoor Adventure | | Item Weight | 8.16 ounces | | Manufacturer | Radio Systems Corporation | | Manufacturer Part Number | POG30-17747 | | Material | Nylon | | Material Type | Nylon | | Model Number | POG30-17747 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Pattern | Solid | | Pet Type | Dog | | Size | 72 inches | | Target Species | Dog | | UPC | 729849177475 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | Lifetime Warranty | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Kurgo - **Color:** Violet - **Material:** Nylon - **Pattern:** Solid - **Size:** 72 inches ## Images ![Kurgo Quantum 6 in 1 Dog Leash, Purple - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61H7pmCYvvL.jpg) ![Kurgo Quantum 6 in 1 Dog Leash, Purple - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91GQavpbvUL.jpg) ![Kurgo Quantum 6 in 1 Dog Leash, Purple - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71AgexQBRsL.jpg) ![Kurgo Quantum 6 in 1 Dog Leash, Purple - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61tdpy4Q+2L.jpg) ![Kurgo Quantum 6 in 1 Dog Leash, Purple - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71S8Rrc5HtL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Versatile and convenient hands-free leash *by S***E on August 18, 2026* The Kurgo Quantum 6-in-1 leash is one of the most useful dog leashes I’ve owned. I’m giving it 4 stars not because it is good, but because you can make it good. With a tiny amount of DIY. Like most of the other reviewers say. The carabiner on the end that connects back to the leash is absolute garbage. In the “no but forreal” kind of way. I honestly can’t believe Kurgo put this out with that trash on it. It straight up isn’t functional with it. Within an hour of receiving I had cut it off with a dremel and gone to the hardware store to purchase a replacement. The good news is.. that works perfectly. The loop that attaches to the carabiner is wide enough that I just popped on a 250lb steel carabiner from Lowe’s. It cost me round about 2$. The best part of this leash over other leashes of this style is the loop system. You can truly do about anything with it. The loops make it so that you can make the leash as long or as short as desired. Which for me is perfect as I have a puppy in training. It’s also much easier to use round the waist because it’s essentially adjustable. Other reviewers have mentioned that it’s not long enough to actually use messenger style (over the shoulder). Which is true..ish. The fact is that there is too many variables. The height of the person. The width of the person. The height of the dog. The amount of acceptable length of lead for your pup. If you are a tall person and a short dog. You’re going to need a leash extension. They could have made it longer and it would have worked for everyone, but it would have become annoyingly long if you were trying to use it as a short leash. I honestly prefer it the length it is for one reason. Using it messenger style I like being able to add a “shock absorbing” leash extension. I don’t like those most of the time but I do when I use it like this. The leash might be a bit on the heavy side for the really tiny pups out there. I have an approximately 8lb CKC Spaniel pup. The pup has no problems with the weight, but the wife thinks it’s heavy? Not sure how that works, but I’m being honest here. The reflective material runs the length of the lead and seems to work just fine. I have no issues with the quality of the fabric or even the hook bit that attaches to my pups collar. It’s just the carabiner on the other end that’s garbage. The last thing I want to mention is the pad that is included for the ‘handle’. I hate it... unless I’m using it messenger style. Then it’s better than not having it. Using it as pictured as the handle part on a normal leash is awkward as all get out. It just bunches up and gets in the way. Why give it four stars if I’m hating on it so much? I honestly like the leash a lot.. the loop system is great. They just dropped the ball on production. If you are willing and able to cut off the carabiner and replace it. I’d say give it a go. If not there are certainly other 6 in1 leashes out there, but for the cost of this leash and a 2$ carabiner this one is still cheaper than most of the others. The pad is a gimmick, but is decent for your shoulder messenger style. If you never plan on using it messenger style just pitch it. ## Frequently Bought Together - Kurgo 6 in 1 Quantum Leash, Hands Free Leash for Dogs, Running Belt Lead, Crossbody & Waist Belt Style, Reflective, Carabiner Clip, for Training, Hiking, or Jogging, 4 Colors - Kurgo Duty Bag for Dogs, Refillable Dog Poop Bag Dispenser, Dispenser with Dog Waste Bags, Attaches to Any Leash, Machine Washable, Universal Design, Convenient, Hook for Used Waste Bags --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sk/products/576452120-kurgo-quantum-6-in-1-dog-leash-purple](https://www.desertcart.sk/products/576452120-kurgo-quantum-6-in-1-dog-leash-purple) --- *Product available on Desertcart Slovakia* *Store origin: SK* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
