Effulgent Revive Retinol Elixir

this is a nice, mild serum. I use it around my eyes before I go to bed. It comes with an eyedropper, which makes it easy to get just a few drops out at a time. I put a few drops on my fingertip then dab around my eyes. I like this product because it is gentle on my skin and has no smell.

I don’t know how much retinol is really in this serum but my skin loves it! I do cocktail it with a couple other face oils and serums and my face always feels really soft! I have tried layering it and it didn’t seem to bother my skin. When I mix it with products my skin feels a lot softer!

It feels like this product tightens up the skin. I'm on the edge of 30 and anything to keep me looking as young as genetics has blessed me with is a must. This seems to help even out skin tone and also tone any spots where the skin isn't as tight. I've been making sure to rub it in along my neck over the month or two of use and have found that the skin is more taught there. I read some reviews that state it feels like an astringent, but I didn't feel that intense of a feeling from the serum. I mixed mine with spf face lotion, and maybe that's the difference. It does smell nice on its own, and hopefully it really works and keeps any extra lines away.

This is good value for the money and so far as I can tell has some method of action.The concern I have is that the packaging and branding and product listing are all very confusing.You will get a bottle in a box and the bottle will have a label. There are no ingredients listed. There is no mention of strength anywhere on the package. There are many sellers of this product on Amazon. In this particular case the listing does not say country of original - others say UK or China. The box you get will say it is Australia's #1 serum. So while I believe this is effective, I cant say for sure that I know what s in it or where it is made

I like this product and the way it's presented. It's a clean look. The product began working in about a month. I do have a warning though; if you've never used retinol before, it's important to understand that whatever your issue is: wrinkles, crow's feet, etc. Your skin will get worse before it gets better. Once you're through that phase, you'll start seeing results

This serum surprisingly is not an oil-based serum, like most I've used in this price range. Instead of dropping it on to my fingers, then applying it to my face. I tilt my head back slightly and drop it directly on to my face then spread it around. If I put it on my fingers first, I feel like I lose too much product. This serum is very runny, almost like water. I actually like the consistency because it soaks in quickly, it doesn't leave my skin feeling oily and it doesn't look shiny. It's very moisturizing and seems to plump the skin but this is something easily accomplished with hyaluronic acid, glycerin and peptides. Another thing I really like about this serum is that it's not tacky or sticky and it doesn't pill.I haven't noticed any real difference in my skin yet but actives take time to work. I am somewhat confused about what exactly is in this product. There are several listings for this same product but they are not consistent with their ingredient list. I've worked very hard to undo the damage to my skin from many years of sunbathing without protection. I'm very particular about what products I use on my face and have done a ton of research. I've learned that a product doesn't have to be expensive in order to be effective. However, I've also learned that certain actives should not be applied at the same time. Retinol and vitamin C should be used separately unless it is a very specific type of vitamin C. Vitamin C is very unstable and it can actually cancel out the retinol. It would be nice to know exactly what type of vitamin C is used in this serum. I like skin care companies that are completely transparent about what exactly is in their product and how much. I'd hate to think that I am going backwards with my skin care. I'll give it some more time to see if I notice any improvement in my skin. If it works then this is a great bargain!

This product seems to tighten up the skin but it also leaves it looking overall healthier. I use it under the eyes to reduce the puffiness and tired look. While other products leave your skin feeling oily, there's no greasy residue with this one and it leaves your skin feeling clean.
