12" Gatefold Double Album Clear Record Sleeves Pack of 10

No unexpected issues encountered.

When I first decided to start placing all the vinyl, I had left in May 2019 there were several double albums I needed covered. These were ordered and the product that arrived was perfect for the job. A thick flexible plastic album cover also just the right amount of oversize to make insertion easy. So, after using the initial batch up I ordered some more in Nov 2019 and got a bit of a shock. The plastic now feels slightly stiff and the spine of the first cover had a tear / crack in it. Worst of all the they appear to have reduced the size so the double album I sleeved barely fitted in there and was a concerning struggle to even get in. I'm not impressed with this loop but will persevere with the remainder. But if the experience for the first is the same as the first I’ll be looking for alternatives for a next lot I buy.Finally coming to use the final sleeve after several months I've discovered it's slit so far down the that 25% of it would be exposed.

Double albums fit well and feel secure. Enough room for two discs on each side (four album set)

Good for slim UK gatefold, unserviceable for American LPs as too tight for US covers which are thicker & slightly larger (US Impulse, for example).I need to re-read the material description- they are very like the old, thick, heavy covers that could lead to 'gassing' (marks on vinyl) tho I think that is largely dependent on storage climate (bigger problem in the US I think).

a bit fiddly to get on for first few, take your time remove albums from covers 1st as reduces the bulk and friction

They are a good tight fit, good size BUT the spine is no good at all, you can't read what album it is as the plastic is too thick and ridged it can't be made out, this is the only thing wrong with them

I am refurbishing my collection of 1960s and 1970s vinyl albums and replacing all the old sleeves with new higher quality versions. These are great quality and very protective, ideal for the job. Not the cheapest sleeves but good quality and therefore the more sensible buy.
