The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Solution, Acne-Fighting Serum for Blemish-Prone Skin

Ive been extremely impressed with The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Solution. I originally bought it to help with clogged pores and blackheads, particularly around my nose and in the corners of my nose. The difference has been remarkable. My pores look much cleaner, and I now rarely see a visible blackhead. What surprised me most was the improvement in the overall texture and smoothness of my skin. Salicylic acid is a beta-hydroxy acid (BHA) and is oil-soluble, which allows it to penetrate into the pore and help loosen excess sebum and dead skin cells. It also acts as a chemical exfoliant, helping break down the bonds between dead skin cells at the surface so they can shed more effectively. That exfoliation seems to be making a noticeable cosmetic difference for me. With less buildup of dead skin cells, the surface of my skin feels smoother and more refined, and because the surface is more even, it reflects light more uniformly. The result is a naturally healthier, clearer, glowing appearance rather than dull or rough-looking skin. I started using it once daily and gradually increased to twice daily. My skin has tolerated it exceptionally well with no noticeable dryness, redness, peeling, or irritation. For me, this has been much more than a blackhead treatment. This has been great so far! I have been using it for around two weeks and at this point all of my pimples are gone. It won't stop the scarring but does help prevent them. I still exfoliate my skin every few days as it doesn't really replace that part of the skin care process, but overall I have enjoyed the experience. My skin is also very dry and pretty sensitive, so after application I use a thin layer of lotion to make sure the product doesn't overly dry out my skin. I would also advise people to test a portion of their skin to make sure there is no irritation. I definitely feel a slight burning when it's on my raw face, but it has never scarred me. That doesn't mean it will be the same for everyone though.

Muy contenta con este producto. Hay que utilizarlo con prudencia, porque si se abusa seca mucho la piel, pero aplicándolo uno o dos días a la semana, por la noche, es genial. Deja una piel muy bonita y ayuda a contralar imperfecciones y a mejorar la apariencia de los poros.

The bottle, product, and dropper provides great value at the listed price. The salicylic acid itself is easy to apply and since you are only meant to use a few drops at a time, the bottle lasts a long time. This was a great addition to my skincare routine.

Highly effective, must buy if searching SA serum, love it, believe me the peoplewho have given one or two stars, are definitely not using it correctly else it is also very helpful for dry acne prone skin and for all if you want to improve texture, it smooths. I will not suggest it for very dry skin and yes if this is your first time starting this serum, you may break out in starting face for about 1 to 2 week but after all the impurities are removed then you will definitely see that what a beautiful and textured free skin you got, exactly like glass skin.
