Does it have the ability to change from 120 V to 220 V?

not that i can tell . FYI it's very difficult to use gets tangled up in my hair the steam only works part time I have to date a variety of 9 or 10 different hair stylers that i've gotten over time and was hoping this one was going to be the one. i guess i'll keep looking

Do I have to straight my hair before I use this?

i've tried both ways but it still tangles up in my hair ,and then my hair ends up getting ripped out trying to remove the iron. EXTREMELY PAINFUL EVERY TIME.GOOD LUCK

I love that I can set it to have the beach ...

I have always hidden my natural waves by using a straightener because they never had any structure to them, until now! I love that I can set it to have the beach waviness for a downplayed/ everyday look, or tighter curls for a more elegant night out. Very happy with this!
