Selected Solutions Manual for Chemistry: A Molecular Approach Paperback – Import, 3 May 2010

I needed this book for my course and did not want to pay full retail. I received the book quickly and it is in better condition than what was described. Therefore, I am very please with the quality of the book and will continue to order books for classes as I received a great savings over the ones sold in the book store in "Brand New" condition. Great study guide. I always get all the extras and this is a great addition to my Chem 1,2 book library. Only contains solutions to odd questions but it does offer great Chem 1,2 support and compliments the Author and the Book. If you have the extra money or just looking to have a complimented study guide then I recommend buying the books solution manual. Amazon offers great prices so it is affordable. There are also some really great sellers to choose from. Book arrived on time and in perfect condition.

Looks good. Haven't had to use it yet. Tro's chemistry text is excellent, in my opinion. I tutor introductory chem students who are taught using his text, and to be honest, it challenges me. Having a solutions manual handy to use for examples to give students should come in handy. I'm glad such a thing exists. I just haven't had any tutoring requests this quarter.

This Selected Solutions Manual covers the odd exercises that are at the end of each chapter in the second edition of the textbook. Unlike other SSM's that I've used, this gives thorough, step-by-step explanations for each answer. This is extremely helpful in my case as I'm taking General Chemistry II which is primarily detailed calculations. The Review Questions at the beginning of each chapter are also very useful for reviewing for tests. I highly recommend this book.

It comes with a solution manual which is a must have for any science class. Only gripe I have about this book is the fact most teachers require you to buy a code to submit online homework and OMFG.....be prepared to spend an additional 80$ if you buy used. On top of that the homework problems are intense if you are more then a 10% deviation from the answer you are penalized and then points are deducted. You are given 3 tries and there are no practice problems. The thing is these online problems are the evens so you can do the odds in the book and hopefully they will be similar enough. Good luck!!!!
