The bowl is 109.53mm diameter. All dimensions are approximate!!! **Q: I have a holder grohe 40444001 essentials soap dish and silver holder, soap dish has broken, will this fit the holder grohe 40444001?** A: Hi Naeem The bowl fitted our existing holder but don't know what make our holder was. I just measured our existing holder which was within 2mm of the measurement described on Amazon for the Grohe soap dish. I bought the dish and it fitted perfectly. Hope this helps. Sadly, I have since accidently broken the Grohe soap dish and couldn't get another as they were our of stock! It is a nice solid piece of glass, with no rough moulding edges. It could have benefitted from having a drain hole in the middle, for our specific mounting location, but no complaints as we knew it didn't have one when we bought it.
