I bought this for a sensory bottle. It was so fun watching the water beads grow and the texture of them. I was making for my 16 month granddaughter, but when my 28 yr. old son saw them he started to experiment with them, he was enjoying them as much as my granddaughter.

One small package could fill 4-5 large vases.Used them for Halloween, decor and Christmas. Enjoy this product very much!

When I received the beads I couldn’t believe how small they were. But when I put them with water it surprised me how fast they grew to size. The color was just what I wanted.

I've had some ball expansion problems with these. The issue is that it's hard to tell how big they'll get. I put a bunch in a vase with my bamboo plant and water then let it be. The balls sucked up all the water, leaving none for my plant. Two of my three stalks died!I moved my surviving stalk to a new, smaller vase and moved some of the balls over to the new vase and added more water. Unfortunately, the balls weren't nearly their full size and after a few minutes, my vase started slowly spewing little orange balls all over my desk.Hours later, I removed some balls from the vase, cleaned up the balls on my desk and added more water.Again! Balls. Everywhere. These balls can't be contained!I tried a third and fourth time to remove enough balls so that I could provide enough water for my plant.Fifth times the charm! I finally contained the balls and my plant is happily sucking up water now that the balls are satiated.For future users, they grow to about the size of an average to slightly above average blueberry.

Used these for a science bin to learn about human blood cells. Kids got to touch and squish them and answer questions. A small amount make a ton of beads (I made too many the first batch). Let them sit in water overnight and they were all large and squishy the next morning. I will be able to use these for years.
