I purchased this after trying their detangler. I have chihuahuas that don’t have the long hair but still could use a little smelly good. This makes their coats soo soft! Perfect for between baths!

Per head products always smells so good! The smell last awhile in your dog. It lathers and cleans well.

I’m not sure how much it smells like a birthday cake, it more smells like strawberries to me. But one way or the other my dog doesn’t stink anymore and I love it! They really hit the nail on the head with this one. Every time somebody complains about their dog stinking no matter how many bad they give them. I always suggest this product

The Birthday Sparkle shampoo smells distinctively like tropical fruit. Very lovely for summer, but not at all as I expected. The consistency is so thick, it is slightly chunky - I needed to water it down. It did lather well and rinse easily. However I felt like it was a bit drying (leaving his fur crunchy instead of soft), so I followed with a dog conditioner by a different brand. My hands still feel very dry. Might work great for a dog with super oily skin! My puppy has a wire-y red coat with super silky white patches that seems to repel dirt and oil. A bath is more to keep him smelling clean and his skin healthy. I have no problem finishing the bottle, but am not likely to buy again. (I was completely interested in the advertised cotton candy birthday cake scent, but it's more juicy fruit gum to me).

I love pet head but this doesn't smell like cotton candy. It is a good shampoo but not a great smell.

This shampoo really does smell phenomenal, plus it’s also gentle on the dog skin. I have a red and white border collie, so you could say I have a redhead dog with sensitive skin. This shampoo caused no problems. He actually didn’t itch at all, until he started to get dirty again, I will be repurchasing!
