Good value and function.
Have used at high and low speeds (600-2400) on hard and soft wood. Works great provided you dont get too aggressive with the cutting tool.

Exactly what I needed!
I purchased this product to make coffee scoop handles. I had been using a cheaper jaw chuck that was working okay, but this drive center will reduce the waste I had from using the jaw chuck. This drive center does an excellent job of securing the wood to the drive end of the lathe and I don't have to worry about it coming loose like I do with the jaw chuck. I absolutely recommend this drive center!

Easy To Use Drive Spur
This drive spur is easy to use because you don't need to use a mallet to set it in place. The large diameter is great for big work pieces. I'll probably buy the smaller version as well for smaller projects.

Just what I needed.
I have been wanting a steb center, and I started a project and I needed one. It does what it should.

Fantastic spur drive
Used for the first time today. I have a spur drive that came with the lathe but this is much better. Spring loaded point centers the bit and doesn't force the point into the wood. This held in place on the wood without having to force it and it didn't slip once. Great spur drive

Very solid and great value
Solid, perfect for the acrylic pen blanks I'm turning. Center post is spring loaded so doesnt require a pilot hole.
