It is exactly what I was looking for. Quality build, very functional and VERY bright. I do really like the multiple levels of brightness. From dim to INSANE. and quite a few between. Easy to use and the Magnet on the tail is very useful. It is strong enough to hold up the flashlight's weight.. I keep it on the wall (breaker panel) and it is very secure. Lights up the entire apartment if needed.

This small light stay charged a long time and has different brightness settings.I really like it to keep in my bedroom at night.Very convenient to have. Much better than the large lights of the past.

like all Fenix lights, its bright, good battery life, charge time is good, easy to figure out. Magnetic base on this is great for putting light where its needed. good size for a pocket. my PD 35 is about ten years old and still doing well. PD 36R was perfect for my son. Quality products.

We have a very deep backyard with lots of trees, bushes and sometimes weeds. When our dog goes out there at night and won't come back, I need to see whether she's got a possum or raccoon or cat cornered without having to go bushwhacking out there in the dark. This little flashlight lights up the whole backyard so I can see where she's at. It's also pocket-sized so it's indispensable for going on dog walks after dark or camping.

Fenix brand is always a great product. This one does not disappoint! Nice and bright and easy to carry.

Have three samples of this light. All will drain down from full charge to “flashing red” battery level indicator within several weeks, despite little to no usage. Owner of many fenix lights, this is the only one exhibiting this behavior. Go with the similar E35R instead. No evidence of significant parasitic drain … full to near-full charge lasts for months when lightly used.Of course, ignore the above if you don’t mind having to recharge frequently. In that case, the E28R will be fine for your use. Just don’t throw it in a bugout bag or equivalent and expect it to be ready at the time of need. Unless you store the battery separately, or unscrew the head to break the battery circuit.
