Rize Contemporary Fully Electric Adjustable Bed Base - Full

I bought a Rize adjustable base at Sit n' Sleep nine months ago. When the right side of the bed began to rise higher than the left side, making the bed lopsided and difficult to sleep in, I called the store where I bought the adjustable base, who advised me to call the tech support number listed on the Rize remote control. This was a couple of weeks after my first knee replacement surgery in November 2013, when the discrepancy between the right and left side of the bed was about 10 inches. People should know that the customer is expected to "troubleshoot" for Rize, meaning you must unplug the bed, get down on your stomach on the floor and try to find switches on the underside of the adjustable base. This is NOT an adjustable base for anyone who is physically incapable of doing this and Rize will NOT take care of any problems unless you run through a number of troubleshooting exercises with them first. The other thing to know is that RIZE makes it very difficult to even request service. You must have all receipts, complete with delivery date, document date and order #; plus the owner's manual, complete with the frame code and date code number. I will never buy another Rize product again.

My wife and I just bought this frame in February(2013) and love the adjust-ability. At first we could have cared less about the massage features but found them to be great for those middle aged aches and pains. The unit has two separate massage units one for the upper body and one for legs. The massage motor for the legs has already died. However I contacted RIZE and immediately got hold of a very courteous and professional assistant. She walked me through a reset pattern for the unit and when that did not fix the problem she immediately told me that a new massage motor would be shipped directly to our house via FEDEX and they would be notified of the delivery and contact a repairman to contact us to come and replace the motor at no cost. Just did this today (7/29/13) so I will update this review when complete.***NOTE MAKE SURE YOU RETAIN ALL RECEIPTS FROM PURCHASE AND BE CERTAIN TO FILL OUT WARRANTY PAPERWORK AND SUBMIT, AS THIS IS REQUIRED TO RECEIVE WARRANTY WORK.This frame works great for watching T.V. in bed and the zero gravity position is perfect after a hectic day at work.

ordered this and extremely happy with it much more quiet than i thought it would be and the message feature which i wasn't even interested in turns out to be amazing very happy with the service provided

The remote control is so temperamental. It’s next to impossible to adjust your bed. I have to get out of my bed and stand in certain spot a sim it precisely to get the bed to adjust, and that’s after multiple attempts, cursing a few times before the damn thing moves. I hate it I bought the bed to relax not to piss me off. I would never buy it again

Really good base. Make sure to get a 12" mattress. Either all foam or all latex only.

My husband bought this as my Christmas present. It was so easy to set up...just sits on top of my existing bed frame, replacing the box spring.

A brand-new adjustable base stopped working completely within a week. Calls to the Tech Support resulted in a diagnosis of "Bad Control Box". Since the bed was locked in an extreme position (head and foot very high), it could not be used for sleeping, and Tech Support promised to "Put a rush on a FEDEX shipment of a new box", and schedule a technician-visit within 5 days ... Weeks went by with one excuse after another, while we had no bed to sleep in...... As of this writing, we are still waiting after one month...... NEVER buy one of these!

After the first one I purchased from Sit & Sleep didn't work for eight months (kept stopping and starting and getting stuck) I got a new one yesterday, and guess what? This one is a nightmare too!! I'm going into Sit & Sleep tomorrow to demand a refund and won't leave until I get it. Whatever you do , DO NOT GET THIS BASE!!!!!
