I bought this for my son, so I can check his location on the way to/from school and unfortunately I was not able to do it as the GPS wasn’t able to locate him and showed me that he was somewhere on a motorway which wasn’t right, so that is why I returned it.If it would work then I would be happy to keep it as it is very nice looking watch, soft band, big screen, long lasting battery, but unfortunately due to the issue with GPS I couldn’t keep it.

This product does not function properly. The app is so poorly designed that it seemed to confuse the child's phone with the mother's phone when we added her to the list of contacts. Worse, the video conferencing never worked properly. The telephone function worked inconsistently, and, we don't know why, the device couldn't find a mobile network in the vicinity of the school. The GPS monitoring function is slow and often just wrong, consistently showing the wrong address even when it "more or less" worked. If you like spending + £80 for a digital time keeper, this is for you. If you're thinking to keep in touch with your child while they experiment with more independence, look elsewhere.

I can’t call

First off the watch is pretty huge and is massive of my 10 year old.Installation and setup is a bit confusing. In the settings of the watch their is a QR code to download the app and then once installed you need to scan a qr code on the watch. However the instructions are confusing on the app and it is not intuitive to use. Some of the wording in the app is in chinese such as the wifi setup.The worst thing about the app is it is full of apps. I start the app for example and want to call if locate and I get 20 seconds of ads sometimes twice in a row. It is really intrusive and frustrating to use.We've used this for several days now and it is hit and miss weather it works. I've tried two different SIMS with different networks. They have been used previously on an android tablet and they have no issues even indoors. However both in the watch will not receive a signal unless outside and then it is rarely 4G.So calling by phone sometimes works but I have never been sucessful with a video call unless in the house and both the phone and watch connected to Wifi so a bit pointless really.The only positive was that battery life was better than I thought. We went out for a full day and it was charged to 69% and came back with 34%. It had 2 calls and a couple of pictures taken so not a great deal of use.The USB charging lead is also a pain. IThe magnet is not strong enough and it is difficult to keep it on the back. A slight knock and it falls off.The GPS I found to be relatively accurate when it worked but was really slow taking minutes to update the location in the app.One thing we wanted it for was step count but found this also didn't work and didn't register any steps.I could go on but in summary there are so many things that don't work or is so flakey such as connection I cannot recommend this watch. It's very disappointing to give this to a child who is really looking forward to using it and having this poor experience.
