Phenomenal
I'm a huge fan of the Off Campus series and the Briar U series. So when the next connected series was announced, I definitely had to grab my hands on the copy. And boy! What a read this has been. I think Luke Ryder is my favourite Mmc so far. I wasn't prepared for him at all. Loved this book !

Sexy,Smutty, funny, Romantic and a total banger by Elle Knnedy
A book full of Comedy, Romance, funny bickering and hot Smut. I have kept The Deal by Elle Kennedy at the top in my Hockey romance book list but after reading The Graham effect I believe The Deal has a tough competition. The funny bickering, hot smut and the friendly, full off banter relationship of the main characters won my heart. One of the most favourite character of the book is Gigi Graham, the character is extremely refreshing, speaks her mind, relatable, saucy and realistic. Luke Ryder is one of my favourite male fiction character after Garret Graham. He is a complete dream And probably the best part of the whole book is the appearance of characters from off campus and Briar U series which replenish the thirst of all the off campus and briar U to read more about them. A special mention to my most favorite quote from the text "just a moment in time" A sweet , comic and sexy romance. A total banger by Elle kennedy

not for me
I loved off campus series with all my heart! So I hate writing this review. But Garrett was my most favourite. Well, no matter what people say, this book was marketed using Garrett Graham’s name. But Gigi had no personality, the book lacked the same magic that the series had, and Garrett saying that he is disappointed in Gigi??? I don’t think he would do that….I don’t know, I feel like, the characters were very fake and shallow…. Hannah had much more depth than the dialogues that she had in the book, I did not get why Gigi was attracted to Luke in the first place! All the off campus names were used to get the hype but the story had not many twists and the relationship of Gigi and Luke was stagnant asf! And Garrett watching Gigi’s games from home and not coming to any except the final??? I don’t know but felt like E.K totally forgot her own characters…

A Hilarious Romp Through College Hockey Romance
Elle Kennedy's latest offering, The Graham Effect, is like a warm hug from an old friend for fans of her Off-Campus series. Set in the same universe, this spin-off follows the feisty Gigi Graham, daughter of the beloved Garrett and Hannah from The Deal. While some may find themselves on the fence about diving back into Briar University's hockey-filled world, fear not! Kennedy delivers a satisfying blend of familiar tropes, steamy romance, and laugh-out-loud moments that make The Graham Effect a worthy addition to your bookshelf. Now, let's talk tropes. If you're a sucker for the classic "enemies to lovers" storyline with a side of sassy banter, you're in for a treat. Gigi and Luke Ryder's chemistry sizzles on the page, even as they trade barbs and butt heads on the ice. Sure, it's not breaking any new ground in the romance genre, but sometimes you just want to cozy up with a story that feels like slipping into your favorite pair of sweatpants. But here's where things get interesting. Some readers might find themselves rolling their eyes at the sheer abundance of over-the-top characters and situations. Gigi's world is a glittering bubble of privilege, where everyone is drop-dead gorgeous, obscenely talented, and swimming in money. It's like the Ivy League meets Hollywood meets the NHL, and yes, it's a bit much. But hey, sometimes you just want to escape reality and dive headfirst into a world where every day is a glamorous photo shoot and every problem can be solved with a well-timed snarky comeback. Now, let's address the elephant on the ice: Gigi Graham herself. Is she a bit of a braggart? Absolutely. Does she tend to talk about herself in the third person? Guilty as charged. But beneath that tough exterior beats the heart of a determined athlete with dreams of Olympic glory. Sure, she may come across as a tad obnoxious at times, but who among us hasn't exaggerated just a smidge on our Tinder profiles? And then there's Luke Ryder, the brooding bad boy with a heart of gold. He may have a reputation for being difficult, but deep down, he's just a guy trying to prove himself in a world that's quick to judge. His chemistry with Gigi is undeniable, even if their initial interactions are about as smooth as a Zamboni on a gravel road. But perhaps the real MVP of The Graham Effect is Elle Kennedy's trademark wit and humor. From hilarious locker room antics to steamy bedroom escapades, she knows how to keep the pages turning and the laughs coming. And yes, there's plenty of dirty talk and bodily fluids to satisfy even the thirstiest reader. In the end, The Graham Effect may not reinvent the wheel when it comes to college hockey romance, but it's a wild ride from start to finish. So grab your favorite hockey jersey, pour yourself a cold one, and get ready to fall in love with Gigi and Luke's rollercoaster romance. It may not be perfect, but hey, neither are we. And sometimes, that's exactly what makes a book worth reading.
