So we did and it was nice and tight on this little Comfry laundry unit. Then we got it on our 1 in fitting And finally cranked the hose clamp down far enough to tighten on a 1-in fitting. What a pita. Review: Its crap do not buy - This hose is garbage. It failed in in 5 months after installing it. It starting to rip apart out of no where.
