3 great features: 1) Pressure shutoff switch 2) Inflator bypass valve 3) Deflator tool
The compressor shuts off automatically if the pressure in the hose gets above 160psi. There are many videos online of users upgrading similar compressors by adding such a pressure shutoff switch. I like that this compressor already has one built in. Ironically, I actually don't often utilize the automatic shutoff because of the 2nd great feature: the bypass valve built into the inflator gauge attachment. My process: 1. Attach the inflator gauge to the valve stem. 2. Fill the tire to an actively-inflating pressure (higher than actual static pressure) that I know from experience results in an actual static pressure roughly equal to my target pressure. 3. Open the bypass to shunt the airflow. (The pumped air flows out of the base of the inflator gauge attachment instead of into the tire.) 4. Read the actual static pressure shown on the inflator gauge. 5. If too low, close the bypass and inflate some more. 6. If too high, use the deflate button. 7. Detach the inflator gauge from the valve stem. 8. Move to next tire. Repeat. No need to run back and turn off the compressor to determine actual static pressure. No need to remove the inflator gauge and test actual static pressure with a second gauge. The compressor simply keeps running all the time, even while switching between tires. No need to stop and start the compressor. A third great feature is using the inflator gauge as a standalone deflator tool. I attach it to a valve stem, open the bypass valve to bulk-release air, close the bypass valve to check psi, then use the deflate button to fine tune the last bit of deflation down to my target pressure. All of the above is more efficient with a clip-on chuck. AstroAI should include a clip-on chuck in addition to the screw-on chuck.

A Beast
Best way to say anything about this inflator is it is a beast. Puts out a huge amount of air instantly and the handheld controller makes the process simple. Even better is its solid construction and high quality including the 16 foot hose and handheld digital valve controller. My previous air pump would shutdown from overheat sometimes not even filling up 1 tire to capacity where with this Beast I was able to fill all 4 in about the time it took to inflate 1 with my old compressor. When I finished the only thing I could say was WOW !! What was once a tedious necessary chore now became a fast easy operation.

Heavy duty, worked well on high-pressure tires for my RV. Don’t buy cheap
I purchased an inexpensive pump originally for my RV, which required 80+ psi in the tires. I had a problem and the cheap pump burned up in about five minutes, literally. Purchased this pump and I have used it twice on truck tires and RV tires, works very well, you get what you pay for. This pump only works with connections directly to the battery because the cigarette lighters in the vehicles do not supply enough current. This is an important piece to this purchase. Do not buy a cheap cigarette lighter pump, they will not last.

Seems well built
Received on time and as described. Haven't had a chance to use it, but it directly seems to be well biilt

Air pump works great - Pressure gauge not so great!
I purchased this item to have a temporary solution. My 10 gallon 30 year old air compressor finally broke down so I figured to have something to inflate my RAM 2500 tires I try this compressor. The little emergency compressors would burn out or the hose connection to the compressor would melt before I can fill one tire. SO, This compressor works great - Filled my tires in record time. I was a bit disappointed that the pressure gauge that it came with failed to work. Luckily, I have a separate pressure gauge so I was able to read the pressure, but I would have liked to have it on the air hose as I was filling the tires as opposed to constantly taking it off and checking... Otherwise - Item works as intended. Good buy for the price - just have a pressure gauge handy.

The beast of air pumps
This air pump is beast design good built with quality portability and the airflow is massive a 7.6 CFM. A nice thing is that it will fill your tires in Minutes and and you know it’s gonna last you a long time because the way it was built very powerful. A little heavy, but that’s to be expected with the way they designed it heavy duty probably will never need to buy another one in my lifetime.

4 stars
I like that this compressor has plenty of power, it’s easy to use/put together and the hose is long enough to reach to the back of any normal sized vehicle. The battery clamps aren’t the most durable (the reason why I’m giving this 4 stars) but they are large enough to fit on larger battery post connectors. That being said…. I am a female and for this reason, I wouldn’t suggest purchasing this compressor unless you’re familiar with your vehicle’s battery location and, are familiar with how to connect/disconnect an air chuck. The directions are written for people who have a mechanical background, not for someone who has never put air in a tire. The suggestions read: Accuracy, Functionality, Weight, Design, and Heat level The Pressure gage reads accurately. It’s functional hence, it airs up tires. The design is compact, it weighs almost 20 lbs and it does heat up quickly so, be careful where you pick it up.
