Red Top Genuine Fly Trap (5 Traps)

The most effective product I have found to control flies - and I live next to a farm, so this is important to me. Have been using these for probably 6 years now.In my experience 1) don’t use hot water to initiate the mix. Warm works much better. They can take a few days to become effective. 2) Hang them somewhere where they will get direct sunlight. 3) Hang them where you want flies to go, more than where flies are. 4) hang 2 or 3 at the same time about 15 - 20 metres apart but stagger them by a few days. 5) hanging height of 6 -8 ft seems to work bestThere is no perfect solution for flies, but these have the advantage of not killing bees, not being dangerous to pets or children, and they do catch a lot of flies.

These fly traps are brilliant, and they work ! They stink, which is why you don’t hang them indoors, but the flies love them.Hang one in the lower branches of a tree or outside the shelter, and the flies will be attracted to it.Highly recommended

Take about a week to start working. They work amazing but dont put it to close to house as they smell a bit.

In my experience you have to be patient and give these traps at least a couple of weeks to activate properly. So plan accordingly. The more sunshine and warmth they're exposed to, the quicker they seem to start working. And once they get going the flies can't keep away from them. Two bits of advice: 1. Locate them well away from your house, otherwise you'll just attract even more flies to where you don't want them to be. 2. Do not buy anything other than original red tops like these. I accidentally wasted over £40 on what turned out to be imitations which simply didn't work at all. And I do mean, not at all. Hope this helps.

Do work very well when they are in the Wright place .

There is no smell coming out of all my Red Top fly catchers and therefore no flies are attracted to it. Even after it has been out for 3 days in heat and sunshine. Very disappointing

Haben die Fliegenfalle draußen im Garten aufgehängt. Wegen unserer Wohnlage auf dem Land haben wir eine richtige Fliegenplage. Diese Fliegenfalle hilft. Man muss sie allerdings in Entfernung von der Terasse aufhängen, sie stinkt ganz furchtbar. Sie wirkt aber auch aus der Ferne.

Tunto in sfavore e che puzza e amche molto ma per chi le usa come me sono decisamente ottime perché io le utilizzo principalmente per le piante di ulivo e nel pollaio.
