Item received didn’t look like the product in the pictures. Unfinished, lightweight and feels incredibly cheap. Measurements are wrong too. Specifically bought as the dimensions were ideal for the intended area but no, 2.5cm too big.Honestly, look elsewhere. Nothing more than expensive fire wood.

There are two problems with this. First, the wood is quite light, thin and flimsy (especially at this price). It looks and feels more like balsa than bamboo. Second, little rubber feet are attached to the slats that lie on the ground. This raises the unsupported slats so increasing the force your height transmits downwards.As a result when I first stepped on it I heard an ominous crack (I am average height and weight). However, I was lucky. Nothing had actually broken.So I unscrewed each of the rubber feet and using a bradawl (the wood is so slight you don't need a drill) repositioned them on the underside of the slats you step on (there are just enough rubber feet to do this - 8). This provides support between the slats on the ground (see pic). Not ideal but the best I could do.Result: greater strength and stability. It now works a treat. So, four stars in this configuration, two stars as delivered, outcome: three.

I’ve has it 3 or 4 months and it’s still all together etc. Tiny Little bit of varnish fading due to use , but you have to expect that I guess, it still looks nice and I’m pleased to not be getting bits stuck to my feet the way you do with fluffy rugs. It’s not uncomfortable to stand on either, I like it. Worth the price. By way don’t use wet wipes to clean it I think it is what stripped the varnish a bit.I’d never go back to rugs now 😁

I opted for this board as an alternative to fabric bath mats that tend to stay damp as we have such a small bathroom with little ventilation.I found the ideal situation is to place this board over a fabric mat, so the water isn’t sitting stagnant under the board once you get out of the shower. It’s absorbed by the fabric mat without you having to stand on wet fabric which makes me cringe.This looks great in my bathroom as the wood matches the other accessories we have in there. Having something a little different that also ties the room together means this is something I’d recommend if you’re not a fan of soggy bath mats!

I was pleased with the delivery of this item as it arrived on time well parcelled and in perfect condition. It looks just as good as advertised. I am using as a step at my veranda door. But could just as well be used in the bathrooms and would look good.
