These are glorious!!! The pencils are clean, easy to hold, and come in 36 delightful, vivid colors that work like mechanical pencils. The price is very reasonable, and they are made to last, with refills available for each color. They are the size of a regular mechanical pencil, and the set comes with two little sharpeners for the lead. You click the lead out and sharpen it. After that, the pencil is easy to use as the leads last very well and do not produce a lot of dust--hardly any dust. They will erase a sand eraser. Vinyl erasers give these pencils the giggles.I really love the rounded triangular shape of the pencils (on the thick side) as they are very comfortable to grip as an adult, and kids will be able to grip them easily as well. They color beauifully, being happy to layer with a soft touch, or a vivid color if you go for the firm touch right off the bat. I will be using these a long time!!!

Absolutely adore these! They are so smooth & easy to lay down with lots of pigment without triggering your carpel tunnel, etc! I actually prefer these over my more expensive counterparts! 10/10 would recommend! They make a perfect gift for your artist friends, coloring enjoyers!

Been coloring with pencils for decades, mechanical ones for ten years. These are PHENOMENAL!! Minimal breakage, which is great for colored pencils in general. Color is very vibrant and smooth.

these pencils are great! The packaging is sturdy but a little hard to get the pencils out of the slots so I moved them into a regular case

These have been out for quite some time and I just received them because I know that they are mechanical pencils and I was waiting for the refill. Yes, I do like them. The colors are amazing. We’ll buy again.

Very nice pencils however if you already have a good set of colored pencils then there’s really no use in buying this set unless you really wanted them. They perform about the same as my cheaper wooden pencil set. I do like that you can buy refills but I don’t think I’ll be purchasing those. High quality but not necessarily a need!

I have never been a fan of colored pencils because they just didn’t color good in my opinion but Kaco mechanical pencils are by far the best colored pencils I’ve ever used. They color so smoothly and you don’t have to fight to sharpen them to a perfect point. And knowing that I can buy refills instead of having to buy a whole new set of colored pencils is definitely a plus. I absolutely love these pencils. 😊
