Q: does this ring turn finger green?

Check for nickel content. That is what causes the green finger, NOT whether or not the ring is pure sterling silver.

Q: How do I figure out what size my finger is?

Fortunately I have ring sizer. If you don't have one, go to a jewelry store and try on rings. I love this ring set. Many compliments on it daily.

Q: Did anyone else received the ring set with just a plain black box with a top instead of the actual ring box shown in picture. Disappointed!

Q: How prominent is the the setting of the big stone? Does it stick out a lot?

The center stone is set up somewhat high, but this is a beautiful set and looks expensive. However, with that being said, I did return the set because I wanted a smaller center stone so it would look more realistic. I was sad to send it back because it was so perfect in every other respect. So if you like the larger stone I would recommend it. Amazon does have a great return policy.
