Review: quiet, dreamy, and contemplative - BEAUTIFUL deck - I can't say enough about this deck of cards- they are all so *beautiful*. The women featured throughout (it's primarily women for all cards) just speak to me in a way that no other tarot/oracle deck has before. I'm very shy, very quiet, and a bit of an introvert and I can relate strongly to the imagery on this deck. You know how some oracle/Tarot decks have the figure posed in the deck in the exact center, with arms open towards the viewer, sort of beckoning them forward? This deck is not like that- it's like the artist caught these women unaware, in a moment of contemplation. I know this all sounds kooky, but I'm trying to express the thoughtful, quiet beauty of this deck. The colors are muted (like a foggy fall/winter day on the shore) but rich, the women are varied in their representation (no romance novel bosoms and muscular men in this deck, which is a big plus for me) and while the cards are fairly true to the origins of tarot imagery, the artist has done such a beautiful job of representing each card. I wish Kwon Shina would just keeping illustrating endless decks and books because the art on this deck is just perfection for me, as far as decks go. I'm a Buddhist and primarily use these cards as both a way to gain insight (I match the traditional meanings of each card with a major theme in Buddhism- for example justice=karma, the wheel of fortune=dependent origination, devil=attachment and self-grasping existence, the chariot=impulse vs. right action, etc.) into my practice and also a way to spark something for deeper motivation and meditation, but as an art historian, I love reading cards intuitively as well- seeing if something in the image might spark something in me that resonates. These cards are so perfect for that. The readings I have done with the deck have been very spot on- the first card I drew was the Tower, which i, traditionally, NOT a good card, but we had just gone through a MAJOR hurricane, one of our pets had been diagnosed with cancer, and so it was spot on. The accompanying cards gave me some food for thought about the situation which helped shift my perspective from complete overwhelmed to trying to make sense of everything and taking it all one moment at a time. And I didn't walk away from that experience with negativity towards the deck because the imagery and the energy of the deck is really subtle and insightful, without being sweet, innocent, or kitschy. The LWB it comes with is just a few pieces of paper stapled together (if you're new to tarot you'll want a better guide, but it'll start you off) and the tuck box is flimsy and won't last. I had a hard time getting the cards back into the box the very first time I used them. This deck REALLY deserves a nicer treatment- I'd love to see a fully done guidebook with some insight on the artist and the creator's inspirations and ideas for each of the cards. Even better, if they published a full size, full-color "Art of Dreaming Way" book, I'd buy it in a heartbeat and look at it all the time. I'm trying to express the gentle, quiet, dreamy, contemplative nature of this deck and I'm not doing a good job. It's just *the* deck for me and I can't recommend it enough.
Review: A Fun, Beautiful and Inspiring Deck - I bonded right away with this deck. I own several tarot card decks, most of which are made by U.S. Games, a company that never fails to deliver on quality. For me, the card stock is just right, neither so flimsy that it tears or rips after a few shuffles nor so thick that it would be difficult to shuffle. Instead, I find that these lovely cards are just right. And this particular deck has some wonderful and whimsical art to help the reader to go deeper into the card reading. It basically follows Rider-Waite yet with some interesting variations here and there. Personally, I like the subtle variations; it is why I own several decks. My only complaint is that I wish the artists would have included some more people of color. The artist does make reference to living in Korea, and some of the people in the cards do have an Asian appearance; however, most people in the deck appear to be Caucasian. Nonetheless, this is a deck that manages to pull off being both fun yet insightful. I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I love the graphics of this deck.

Because I always appreciate a little smaller deck, I trimmed this one into the perfect size for me. The imagery is right up my alley, and I always look forward to using it, especially now that it is a bit smaller. The pictures really pop now, and the colors are soothing. Based on the Rider Waite deck, it is easy to read. The colors are soothing and reminiscent of a softer pallet. There are also no naked people with these cards which I like, as it works well for all kinds of situations and ages. This is one of my favorites, which is saying something as I have quite a few.
