They claim it is GI issue...
And I'll second it. I usually wait to file reviews until i see the product work. Having used one of these in environments as inherently wet as the jungle for years, this is the same superior protection as what I was issued. It feels and looks right. One aside, we always turned them inside out. I can't find a solid answer on the web. I think it was the smell of the rubbery side and, after being used by tons of soldiers, they sometimes would delaminate a bit getting all over your gear/kit. There may have been some mold concerns, but either way. You can't beat an issue WWB and you certainly can't for this price.

perfect for gym clothes
I needed a laundry bag to hold my gym clothes in my duffel or backpack. This did the trick. It comes with two so I use one for workouts and the other for traveling. It's relatively lightweight and completely waterproof, which is great for separating out items that you don't want touching each other.Only weird thing is, I believe these are used. Mine arrived with some (what looked like) hiking residue on them. I gave both bags a thorough cleaning and hang-dry before use.

Affordable, Super Quality, Great Waterproofing!
I bought this bag from Allegheny Surplus Outlet, Inc. - the bag that I received was almost new - as described by the user - "Used - Like New." This is a big bag, robust, with solid water proofing and extremely affordable. I am using it to waterproof my sleeping bags. I shall buy more of these for water proofing my stuff inside my bug out bag.

USGI Issue Alice Pack Liner
These appear to be new bags without wrappers.. Still have the New "Rubber smell"..Yes these are heavy duty bags, real military 782/TA50 equipment.. Not a hyperlight supertechno glorified ziploc baggy just to keep your scivvies dry.. These go beyond waterproof, these bags are actually AIRTIGHT.. When folded closed and tied correctly, yes airtight.. These bags are also used as flotation bags for you and your equipment when crossing water obstacles.. I wouldn't trust some flimsy nylon ditty bag from REI to do that.. These are the real thing!Definitely not your average waterproof "Laundry bag"..

Waterproof Laundry Bag
I purchased two of these to use as a rucksack liner. They're heavier than the traditional rucksack liner and not nearly as flexible...but they're much stronger. I like them a lot. The two I received are brand new and in excellent condition, complete with the nylon cord to cinch the bag closed. If you need a waterproof backpack liner, I would recommend these. They are just as effective as some of the commercial "dry bags" and cost significantly less. Good Purchase.

Smells like cow manure out of the package and it has holes.
I bought this with the intention of keeping my sleeping bag dry while kayaking. When I opened the package and it made the entire room smell like cow manure. I washed twice and drenched it in air freshener and hung it outside for 3 days and it still smells really bad. On top of that I found several small holes in it. I would return it if my post office wasn't a 30-40min drive away. I won't be using it. Its going to the trash.

Buy New
Vendor- I don't like the product however the vendor was great. It was shipped quickly and on time and offered to replace or refund within 24 hours. Therefore I have to give the vendor Ammocan Man a great rating in this aspect.Bags- The bags were very nice on the outside however on the inside there were pin holes when holding it up to the light. I'm sure they may be good outside of trying to make your pack waterproof for floating it down the river. My recommendation is that if you buy on this product. Go new or go home on these. The price isn't much more but every surplus store I have been too, they were all the same.
