Total crap, not worth $10
These are ridiculous! There are just two pieces of cheapo plastic and a shoestring that doesn't even attach to them. I mean, what are you supposed to do with these??? You'd be better off buying a couple of paper Dixie cups and just cutting them down to size and using a piece of string to tie around your head. So poorly designed!

AWESOME Invention!!!!
These are outstanding! I use them at concerts to block out the incessant talkers around me! Anyone talking behind you or to the side of you is blocked out and all you hear is clean music channeled from the speakers right into your ears. After a big 4-day beach concert back in 2018, my arms were so sore from holding them up to my ears every night. So, when I got back home I started working on drawing something like this up. But, I found these on Amazon and they were already invented for me. What you need to do is once you get the adjustment for your head, I would recommend using a hot glue gun, duct tape, or stickers (which is what I use) to make them permanently affix to your head in the right place. This way, they won't slip out as you dance the night away listening to music instead of talkers. This past week I was back on the beach and announced I was giving five pairs of these away and had a HUGE line begin to form. I could have given away hundreds of them. These REALLY work, if you get them adjusted for you head and then glued/taped so they won't move. Excellent invention. FIVE STARS all the way!

Not worth the price even at <$10.00.
This product was a big disappointment. It is literally a plastic cup cut in half and tied together with string. I got it for a friend who is hard of hearing and who isn't being helped by electronic hearing aids in large dining rooms. I thought it would help him but he wouldn't wear it. Save your money.

Works good but recommend an adjustment.
I was always cupping my hand over my ear so I could “catch the sound” and hear better. My arm gets tired. When I saw these I thought I would give these a try. They work like they are supposed to, despite my husband thinking I look nuts haha. One suggestion: the cord slips off the cups and everything falls off... it would work better if there was a groove in the cups to hold the cord snuggly and keep the cups from slipping out. For now I used crazy glue to attach the cord to the cups in the appropriate place and that works okay.

ACTUALLY WORK AFTER SLIGHT MODIFICATION
My wife bought these as a gag gift, but they actually work. My 76 year-old ears rely on hearing aids most of the time, but I prefer to use this without the hearing aids to listen to music from my SOTA sound system. One caveat kept me from giving 5 stars. As delivered, it is extremely difficult to keep the cups in place without adjusting the string uncomfortably tight. That problem was solved by drilling two 3/16 holes in each cup (see photo). Now the cups are adjustable on the string and the string does not need to be as tight. Perhaps I should patent this improvement. I suggest using a match to melt the outer layer of the string to minimize fraying, and to make it easier to thread the string through the 3/16 holes. Hold the flame below the string, not directly touching the string.

Both good and bad.
Product is good for TV viewing. The attachment method is cheap and isn’t the easiest to keep on your head. A groove in the plastic cup to keep it I place would be nice. Or a head set style clip would be even better. They work well with my hearing aids because the behind the ear hearing aid microphones are behind your ear. It’s okay but not great.

Total Waste of Time and Money
These things are really laughable when you see them and try to use them. It almost seems like a gag gift. The cord keeps sliding off your head unless you tie it tight enough to strangle yourself and you have to try to center the ear cups under the cord so they don't fall off and they don't do much to improve your hearing and then you look and feel like a complete moron wearing them.

the mounting system is very lame.
the ear cups enhance the sound but the way they attach to your head is ridiculous. No engineering whatsoever. They give you a short piece of shock cord elastic. That is it!
