Works well with induction
We switched to an induction range and our daily driver soup pot no longer worked. We found this saucepan and took a chance since it was supposed to work on induction. It arrived very well-packaged with a drawstring bag and 2 silicone handle holders included. It works very well with induction, seems to heat fast and evenly. We also like the brushed finished plus it's the perfect size for 4 servings of soup and then some. Our old one was a 1 quart saucepan and it was always boiling over. The measurement markings on the inside is also very useful since my wife always measures out the liquid when making miso soup. It feels like it will hold up well over time. It's very well made for the price and we're glad to replace the old one, which was missing part of a handle rivet but didn't feel like it was reason enough to replace it.

Nice size
Nice size for one or two people. Easy to clean. I use it ever day and it’s held up well.

Better than expected
It took me a long time before I ordered this saucepan as I felt it was kind of pricey. I finally took a chance after seeing it go sale, let me just say that if you are on the fence about buying this - you will not be disappointed. The pan is heavy with a think aluminum layer coated in 18/10 stainless steel. It is a quality product and so versatile. I use it all the time; to steam veggies or warm something up. Wonderful product!

Worth the money to me
I love this pot. Heats up well and quickly on high heat (even on my old electric stove). It is well made, sturdy handle on pot doesn't get hot. I especially enjoy the spout for pouring out whatever is inside the pot. Really nice to be able to pour without splatter. Heats evenly. It's also pretty easy to clean. Dishwasher safe. I use it mostly to boil water for my drip coffee maker. I have used it for gravy, etc. I think it is a good value for the price and it shipped fairly quickly. Has a lid and steam basket for veggies, etc.

Nice, indeed, but the box they came in states Made in China…strike one.
These are nicely made but seem lighter weight than I expected. I hope that they don’t ding/dent/scratch easily…but the wrap around thermal tri-ply is a positive direction for me. I’ve purchased both the 1.5 Qt and the 3.5 Qt. (with steamer topper) and really do anticipate good cooking on my inductive cook top.

This steamer works perfectly as described, I can't believe how nice it is for the money.

Impressed!
Old non stick 1.5 qt on the left, new Buttermelt 1.5 qt on the right. As you can see, the old barely held 1.5 qt of water where the Buttermelt had room to spare. The Buttermelt is a solid tri-ply pot with decent weight. The pour spout and strainer lid are so convenient to have. Already looking forward to replacing my non stick 2.5 qt pot with another Buttermelt product!

Awesome pan!
This is a well engineered pan. It has a steamer pan which sits well above water level and little grips which you can use to empty steamer. Handles do not get hot. Delivery was timely and well packaged. I would definitely recommend this pan!

Solid. Will last years. Just the right size for dinner for one.

Looks and feels premium
It's a pot. It holds water/food while getting heated from an element below--I think it'd be hard to screw this up. So I hesitated to spend as much as this costs, but it feels premium in ways that I think justifies it. The metal has a pale platinum sheen to it, that I think looks really nice. It's thoughtfully designed, including with the neat engraved volume measurements. And even though it shouldn't matter, the packaging that it comes in also feels quite premium, which also inspires confidence in the quality of the product. As for how easy it is to clean, I'd really hesitate to use it for anything other than boiling stuff in water (pasta is primarily what I got it for). But soap, water and elbow grease can always do the job no matter how much of a mess you make, and you don't have to worry about being gentle with it the way you do with non-stick coatings.

No Hot Handle
Tried first time and was impressed. It is on the expensive side but it sure is worth every penny. It’s heavy and you better have strong wrist. Tried steamer with Broccoli, carrots and cauliflower and they were steamed/ cooked were nicely . Another thing that impressed me was that the handle doesn’t get hot. So far very pleased with my purchase.
