Men's Dress Shoes Lace up Oxfords

The GOLAIMAN Men's Leather Oxford Wingtip in black arrived very quickly from the seller in your standard shoe box. The box was semi-crushed, but that may have been from shipping. The shoes themselves were individually wrapped in their own sleeves in the shoe box. Personally, I don't wear these shoes daily, so I put them back in the sleeves after wearing them to keep them from getting dusty.The shoes themselves are actually pretty nice. The soles are rubber and have pretty good traction. I especially like the little brown highlight in the heel for a little contrast. So far, the soles seem to be doing pretty well after wearing 3 or 4 times. I have had other pairs that have really brittle soles that start to chip out...not these.The actual upper of the shoe is pretty nice and pliable. I know it says it is faux leather, but it doesn't seem to function any different than full leather shoes. Time will tell in how they handle more periods of wear and whether they start cracking.I had another pair of a different brand I returned because of the intense smell from the dyeing process. Smelled like they had been dipped in diesel. I am happy to say these shoes do NOT have that smell.I have only 2 complaints about this shoe. It does run a little large. I normally wear a 13 in dress shoes and tennis shoes. A 13 in these probably is more like a 13.5. The second complaint is that the insole of these shoes is not comfortable at all. I am going to get some inserts to see if it improves the fit and comfort of the insoles.Other than my 2 complaints, which are relatively minor, I would say these are definitely nice shoes and would recommend them.

Shipped very quickly. Shoes were individually bagged in the box. No damage. Shoes fit as expected & look great. Great buy!One little concern... with the exception of the description on Amazon, the shoe does not say or have "leather upper" or "man made materials" printed anywhere on the shoe, the box, or on the inside of the shoe's tongue... Is it leather? I hope so.... Is it synthetic? I hope not.... But at this $.Maybe I should delve into this a little further, but, you know what they say.... "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth"

Sometimes the picture doesn't do shoes justice, but these were better than expected. I get a lot of compliments when I wear them. It didn't take long to break them in either. I have flat feet so I had to throw in some insoles so they are very comfortable now, not too heavy. Well worth the price what I paid for these.

I must admit I getting used to buying shoes on Amazon... It's a great value. For the similar shoes I have been over-paying for years on some department store. It's my second pair of shoes for this particular brand. They are really comfy and great looking. Highly recommend it for daily use if your office dress code asks for black leather shoes.

Center Tread is almost gone after wearing them five times

These shoes look very sharp whether you wear them with more formal attire or casual, so these could work for just about anyone. The leather is soft and smooth but the design and cutouts give the shoes a bit of pizazz without being over the top. Soles are flexible without feeling cheap yet they’re not too stiff. As far as sizing goes they fit true. They’re absolutely more comfortable than any other formal dress shoe. They’re laced awkwardly, upon arrival, so other than re-lacing each shoe you can wear them immediately. Didn’t need to be “broken in” like other dress shoes. I will say, if you have wide feet you may consider sizing up a half size to compensate for the pointy toe but definitely isn’t needed. You can not beat this price anywhere else and expect such a quality product as this!

My husband and I have a wedding event last weekend, so I was searching a pair of cheaper dressy shoes for him for that one night. This exceed our expectation. He said it was very comfortable. The size is as expected. Very happy with this purchase.
