Lacewing 3' 10 Essential 2 Tier Greenhouse Staging

Bit fiddly with lots nuts bolts but got easier as you went on. Very sturdy and just what was needed for greenhouse staging ,nice height as well .very fast delivery well pleased.

I bought this item for my small garden to put on top of it some clay pots with flowers and beneath the table I put the spare empty plastic pots. This corner in my garden is now looking very nice and tidy. The metal should not rust as all table parts are galvanised. The only thing I have doubts about is that it looks that it not made from steel, but from some aluminium alloy - it is soft and, although I screwed all the parts of the table tight, I put at the sides of it big tubs with plants to secure the position of the table. Without this precautionary measures it would be dangerous to live the table on its own, especially if my grandson would come to visit me. Should be reinforced for safety reason.

I read what other people had said about the instruction but used it as a guide, nuts and bolts small but I expected that so there were no problem, I would recommend you tighten the nuts and bolts hand tight then level it up and then tighten with spanners I found it easier to assemble that way. I'm happy with it.

Its an ok item much flimsier than any staging I have previously had. You would not be able to sit on it but then why would you? Although forwarned by others I was not put off as I do a bit of DIY so I was prepared for holes that needed redrilling and awkwardly placed nuts and bolts. I was confronted with both together with a corner that was curled up like the open top of a sardine can. The metal is soft so you can bend it back into shape if needed and use any old drill to enlarge the holes slightly - particularly those which are not round. Then the bolts will then slip in nicely. Put the legs on the OUTSIDE and fingertighten the bolts putting the lower ones on first in each pair. Use a ratchet to tighten and pliers and/or a screwdriver to jam the nuts in place whilst tightening evertything up. Have a strong magnet handy for when the nuts drop off and get stuck in the corners. Easy peasy it only took me about 45 mins .

Having read the customer reviews I expected tedious construction! However I had absolutely no trouble - don't tighten any nuts until aĺl four are in position at each joint and fit the legs on the outside edges of the shelves. ( The instructions are unclear here) Result : a robust, value for money product.

Yes, very happy with it now its put together but... very fiddly screwing up. The design could be changedI am sure, maybe TWO instead of four screws and nuts could be the fixing and make the TWO larger toenable them to be tightened easier. But its done now and in situ in the Greenhouse. Brenda Brettell

We bought this as a secondary staging unit for our greenhouse. Good quality product that provides a good alternative to slated staging.Came with more than enough nuts, washers and bolts to complete constructing the unit which was useful.

Downgraded this to 4stars due to the fiddling I had to go through to assemble it. It's only 6 pieces but with 32 bolts, all in corner locations and I'm told I've got hands like shovels and fingers like fat sausages. What should have taken 30 minutes was at least 1.5 hours.
