An alternative to air mattress
My go to solution for temporary or guest sleeping arrangements has always been an air mattress. But as we all know these things eventually fail and are easily punctured leaving one half deflated and miserably discomforted in the middle of the night. So with that said I looked to find an alternative. Someone had suggested buying a cot and immediately I had flash backs of those camping days of old sleeping on hard and uncomfortable Army style cots. With that in mind I was a little hesitant in going that route but after reading the reviews on the ABORON models I was convinced to at least give it a try. The cot arrived in perfect timing when a family member came to visit. I elected to sleep on the new cot for a few days and give it a spin. I was pleasantly surprised that this thing was way more comfortable than those Army style cots. I actually slept through the night and woke up spry and chipper the next day. The supplied cushion is very nice and plush and the overall construction is very sturdy and well designed. I added a yoga mat as a little extra layer of cushion which seem to add an extra bit of comfort. Overall this was a great purchase and it should last a heck of allot longer than an air mattress. It is simple and easy to set up and it folds up and stores away nicely without taking up allot of space.

Makes a great bed.
Very stable, slides easily to move around. I use it as a bed in a narrower space where I live. One thing is being extra wide for a cot it has too much of that cot sag. I found you can fix that by piling yoga mats or cardboard or foam sheets in between the sides. I then have a folding mattress I put on top and then use a sleeping bag. Very comfy.

Great Cots
We really liked the construction and easy maneuverability. They are comfortable but you do need additional bedding as the mattress supplied is very thin as others mention. We use a 3” tempurpedic topper and that works well. I would rate 3.5-4 because of the added expense for the topper. I think the price should be reduced due to this fact or they supply an appropriate mattress for the price. I do recommend but get a topper.

Did it’s purpose
Matt was more like a thin comforter. Did not add much added comfort. Overall not a bad product. Sturdy. Better than sleeping on concrete. Slept well on it. Love how it folds up for space saving.

Most comfortable cot we have found.
Bought this to use at church during a winter shelter program for house-less in our community. It wa easy to et up and the most comfortable. It made finding volunteering for the program easier.

Okay
Not bad for the price. Pad seemed fluffy at first, but after sleeping on it one night (I weigh 145 lbs) it flattened out a bit. I could feel the metal underneath it. Will have to get memory foam to make it more comfortable. Also, it's about 26.5 inches wide, not 28" as stated in the description. Will work for grandson's sleepovers, but will definitely have to purchase memory foam.

Responsive to problems
The cot arrived with a broken plug from one of the tubes rattling around in the box. After some communication, seller sent correct size plug and the problem was solved. Seller was responsive to the issue. Cot is as advertised, except for the pad, which is not as fluffy and firm as depicted. Works for the purpose I purchased for.

DO NOT BUY
This was so uncomfortable. I opened it and sat on it for two minutes. I immediately had a neck ache. It felt like I was sitting on a rock. I didn’t know Amazon had a different third party return policy and my family spends thousands of dollars a year with Amazon. No prepaid label no return to Whole Foods. It would cost more than the item to return it. Go to your local sporting goods store. Avoid third parties on Amazon unless you like throwing money in the trash. Buyer beware. I do not want to even donate this item to a charity because it might cause damage to someone’s back or neck. Amazon is going to try to. assist, but I am disappointed with Amazon too.
