I will say when I first got this it did not work. I contacted the company and they sent me a replacement quickly. The one they sent out has worked great and puts out plenty of ice for a family of 5.

Lives up to it's claims. A bit noisy to sleep to. I am in a wheelchair and could not reliably get ice for breakfast. My breakfast is about 7:30 a.m. but the house does not arise before 10. Turning this on 2-3 hours before breakfast and there's a lot of ice waiting. Ice is alien to the Mexican palette, as is ice cream. They prefer concentrated peppers to make things chemically HOT. Ice melts quickly in the bin then clumps and clogs the exit door. Then the exit door comes apart due to the extra pressure from being clogged. Quite the noisy machine. This is the second machine in 2 weeks and still not satisfied. The first one they sent me was a refurbished one when I paid for a brand new one. It’s only a decent machine if you turn it in 20 mins before you want ice. Then fill your cup with ice and shut it back off. Otherwise it will continuously make ice, clump up, melt, drain, automatically use more water to make more ice rinse and repeat. Then wonder why your water bill is high. The answer is this machine does not recycle the water.I’m going to try the refund process, wish me luck!

This machine is as advertised. Great chewable pellet ice. Remember to measure your space. It won't fit under your typical cabinet. It's not as loud as I thought it would be. The ice dispenses slow but that doesn't bother me. I like that I can set my glass down to dispenser and walk away because it automatically gives just a scoop of ice. The buttons are an easy touch (not push). The ice melts faster than I'd like but I knew that it wasn't a freezer when I bought it. The installation book could be written a little better but we got it figured out.

My fridge doesn't have an ice maker. I'm alone, so I really don't use a lot of ice, but this produces about 10 cubes every 7 minutes. I run it every other day and freeze the excess ice. IMPORTANT NOTE. This is an ice maker ONLY. NOT A FREEZER, so the ice will melt in it if you think you can leave it overnight. Again, it is NOT A FREEZER. It's good for about 4-5 hours, before your ice will become semi-frozen. I love this thing....

Our refrigerators ice maker went out and I did not want to replace it due to it's age of 30. Bought the counter ice maker to make ice for home and take to gathering. Using ice maker today for the first time.machine making a nice size hallow bullet of ice. Ice has no odor or odd taste. Easy to use. A little noisey but you quickly get used to it.Light comes on when basket is full of ice.I refilled machine to make a second basket of ice to refill our regular ice bin in freezer. Its a hot 95 degrees in Texas today. We will use this ice maker often this summer.

At first I was a little skeptical about this ice maker but you do get ice in about 15 minutes. The ice cubes are small (even the large is kind of small) but it suites my needs. No running out for a bag of ice at 7 pm. Every Thursday I run the maker and just keep dumping the cubes into my freezer bin until I have a full container in the freezer. It keeps me in ice all weekend long.
