The low profile is really nice in a hallway and gives a lot of bright light.

Overally, it's a good looking low profile light. The metal ring has a nice brushed look to it and the LED lights evenly across the surface of the glass. It's a 3000k light so it has a daylight yellow appearance (warm light).I used this in a laundry room where I needed a low profile to allow the cabinet doors to open. My only issue is that the ceiling is very low in this room and the metal ring prevents any light from shining sideways from the light. I didn't think this would be an issue, but it actually casts a shadow along the ceiling and only lights directly below it. This shouldn't be an issue on a standard 8ft or higher ceiling; and it's not a big enough deal for me to swap it.

This fixture was ordered and installed in our walk-in closet. It made all the difference in the world. It is very bright for seeing in dark places. Anyone with any eye issues will certainly appreciate the light given off by this fixture. It is heavy and well made with metal and glass; not flimsy at all. The light fixture has a very small profile; it only hangs down from the ceiling an inch or two. This slim design allows the light fixture to blend in with the ceiling.It is dimmable if on a dimmer switch. Ours is not since dimming a closet light isn't necessary. However, if I were to put it in a kitchen or a hallway or another room, I would definitely want it to be on a dimmer to control the brightness.Installation, for us, was challenging but due to some of our own issues. We had a problem with our ceiling box that we had to fix first. Then my husband installed the mounting bracket without difficulty but we could NOT get the light part to attach to the bracket. To make a long story short...he had installed the mounting bracket upside down. Once he switched the mounting bracket around, it went together without a hitch. Just make sure you follow the directions and you will be fine!Love the light this fixture puts out! It is exactly what we needed. It is small but mighty! We are already considering buying another one for our second walk-in closet.

great light and great quality. It should not give you much trouble if you follow the directions. The light is bright which is great. The design is simple but very nice, exactly what I needed. Would recommend it.

Quality materials. Easy to install. Mine tested a little cooler at 3600K but I prefer that over 3000K anyway.

This seemed to be a good choice to replace one of the older lights in the back of my bathroom. I had been looking for an all LED fixture under 2000 lumens. The previous fixture was installed with a non-standard 6-inch square electrical box, so I had to make some modifications to the hole and mount a new ceiling box in that hole. I figure I will eventually need to pull all of it and re-drywall that section of the ceiling for everything to look perfectly aligned.Anyway, due to how everything had been wired, the length of the wires in the new ceiling box was a bit on the short side. I've never had a problem with shorter wires before, but made it super difficult to install this particular light.While holding the light, I had to fish wires through the 2 1/2-inch hole in the center of the mounting plate and connect it to the wires inside the ceiling the box, through the hole. If the hole had been just a half-inch larger, it would have a LOT easier to hook up the wires, but I suspect that most people typically have longer wires in their ceiling boxes that would stick out, making it easier to hook them up.Even so, doing the final mounting proved to be the most difficult part. The thin wires for the fixture wouldn't stay put in the ceiling box and the hook on the retaining wire kept falling off until I finally bent it back into shape with a pair of pliers.Getting the fixture lined up with the mounting plate was a royal pain. I kept getting two of the three slides to engage but I could never get a third. After a few very annoying minutes, and a bit of cursing, I had a good look at the fixture and then proceeded to bend the little clips with a screwdriver just enough so they would actually engage. A minute or two later, the little click told me the the light was securely mounted on the bracket.The light is significantly brighter than I expected, so I'm glad it supports a dimmer...which will be my next purchase for this bathroom.

There are a ton of these on the market. What sets this one apart is the exceptional quality for the price. It isn’t cheap plastic with an acrylic diffuser. It is a quality aluminum with glass. It installs as simply as any other light and has the advantage of a nice detail in a “safety” cable which allows you to suspend it without pressure on the wiring while you are installing it. Highly recommended and very pleased.
