Brilliant
So easy to use. I fitted zips with no trouble at all and no pins. I wish I’d discovered this tape years ago!

Too sticky, which can be a disadvantage...
I used the tape to prevent stretchy fabric from "tunnelling" when sewing a zigzag stitch. It worked for this purpose but the glue melted in the fabric, and it was so strong that prevented the sewing machine needle from moving freely in and out of the fabric. Actually, the top part of my twin needle that is kept in place by the screw, detached from the lower part of the needle (the double needle part stayed in the fabric...). The glue was so strong that damaged my twin needle. Also it was a nightmare to remove the tape from the fabric. Also when removing the tape from the roll, only the top paper layer comes off while the hemming tape remains on the roll. Maybe the fabric should be sewn immediately after applying the tape and maybe not in warm environment.

It works.
I used this to turn up a really fiddly quarter inch double hem. Made the job very easy. Was very stiff when I finished sewing but did wash out as promised. Very pleased.

Ich benutze von Zeit zu Zeit für bestimmte Nähprojekte doppelseitiges Klebeband für Textiles. Dabei ärgert es mich, dass dadurch die Nähmaschinennadel verklebt. Leider ist es auch bei dem teuren Quiltklebeband der Fall….sehr schade

Wow.. just heard about this product. I'm making Jeans. Helps folds down seams/hems. Great for placing pockets. And it all washes away! I can stick a pocket on, do a complex top stitch & its all perfect. Its a must have.
