A Great Tactile for Littles
This is a really nice way to teach children to sound out word, while allowing them to learn how to spell and incorporating tactile learning. The letter blocks are a perfect size for littles and a nice thickness as well. They are nice and smooth and very well made. There are plenty of cards to use. As far as cards go, these have a nice thickness to them as well. I love that there is a zipper bag to keep all of the letter tiles in. The box that it came in is as good of quality as expected from cardboard. If it is well taken care of, the box should last for a long while.I think this is perfect for children that struggle with letter sounds and could easily be used as a game with a (grand) parent pulling out only a few letter for a child to choose from at a time. It is also a wonderful way to teach the short vowel sounds of letters. This would make a perfect gift for any child starting with letter sounds or those that just need a little bit of extra practice.

For kids who love letters
I know my baby’s probably a bit young for this at 17 months but he is OBSESSED with letters. So we bring them out a few at a time, let him play. But this is absolutely a toy that can grow with him. He LOVES the letter tiles as is, and I love that we can start going from sounds and letters to short words and flashcards.I’d highly recommend toddler parents, even those who are pre-reading to let their kids play with this if they are fans of letters. I’m so excited to see this toy grow with him, already he begs for it!!! Although pro-tip- make sure you store all the pieces in bags because if your kid is anything like my kid, he’ll run away with the pieces. So now we only take it out to play when this is what we’re doing and we put everything back before we play again!!!

Creative and fun
This is a very nice set of learning tools which you can use to teach your kid how to start figuring out words by image association or even just telling them the word and having them spell it out by the blocks. Everything in the set is made out of blocks and wood but they give you enough letter blocks to work out a few at a time as needed. Overall, it's a really nice investment to get my kid to start learning words, how to spell and recognize letters by image association and I would recommend this.

A fun way to learn
I ordered this as an additional tool to add to our Homeschool curriculum. Both the younger boys have fun "playing" with this alone, but they also have fun "competing" against each other in timed races. I like that this is hands-on, and makes my kids feel like they are "just" playing, not focused on learning. We use this along with other hands-on tools when they need a "break" during their school day.

Nice
This is such a cute set! My granddaughter completely loved it when she opened at Christmas! It is very self explanatory and she loved playing with the letters and cards, along with sounding everything out and trying to spell it. I would definitely recommend!

Very clever game for beginners to learn letters
This is a fun little game with picture cards that children can easily identify, letter blocks, and then a set of 3-letter wooden frames with the middle vowel pre-filled in. It's easy to use if you do one vowel at a time, (less stuff for the kids to think about while sounding out words), and because of this I think the cards are color-coded for each vowel, so you can easy do _A_ words all at once.My oldest son is just now learning letters and this is very helpful with that.

Excellent for kinder class
I'm using this in my kindergarten class for one of the ELA centers. They stay engaged and love working independently with this! Super quality - made out of wood!UPDATE: I realized that I received two "a" vowels and no "e" vowel. Problem. Returned it for a replacement (no big deal), but then it never arrived. Customer Service was only able to give a refund which doesn't help since it was a vine item. Bummer. Changed from 5 to 3 stars given that the set is worthless without the "e" vowel and that I went through the hassle of returning, but never received the replacement.
