Great Harmonicas at a Great Price
I have a nice set of harmonicas comprised of my two favorites, Lee Oskar, and Golden Melody. Back in the day, when I bought them, they cost $20-$30 each. I decided I wanted to get a couple of harmonicas in keys I use most frequently to take on my motorcycle trips. I was shocked to discover that my favorites now cost $42-$50. After reading the reviews on the Reckless harmonicas, I decided to give them a try. After all, you get 5 harmonicas and a case for about the price of one Lee Oskar or Golden Melody. I must say, I was quite impressed with how well the Reckless harmonicas play and sound. They work amazingly well and are perfectly in tune with my homemade travel guitar. The compact, hard case works well for traveling, but it could be improved upon. If the harmonicas are laid flat in the case, you can't see the key marker on them. Also, in that configuration, they are hard to remove. If they are put on their sides, they flop around in the case. That said, I'd buy these harmonicas, again, in a heartbeat.

Great set of Harmonicas at an outstanding price
Everything concerning this purchase was outstanding! The Harmonicas were of higher quality than expected for the price. Tone and playability is very pleasing. The case for this set was exceptional and makes a great display for the harmonicas. Ordered on a Saturday with Amazon Prime and item was delivered the next day, a Sunday, at no charge! The only recommendation I have is that the harmonica key, ie A,C,D,E & G, be embossed or engraved on the side of each harp so that it would be visible while it is in the case.Over all this set well worth five stars, I would highly recommend to beginners and experienced players!

The ones I got needed a little tweaking out of the box, but now good to go!
I wanted to write a hopefully helpful review for other professional (but not rich) musicians out there, like myself. I play harmonica almost daily as part of my show. My go-to's are Lee Oskars and Hohner Golden Melodys. But I keep blowing them out...mainly the G and C keys. I've been buying new Lee Oskar reed plates for about $25 but thought I'd look into these guys which result to an amazing $12 per harmonica. In the hand, these feel pretty similar to my Lee Oskars. The playability is good, but not quite up there with my main harps (bendability/air flow is really good but not excellent). These are a bit lower on output/volume, as to be expected. My main question is of durability...which I'll update here if I need to.I did have to poke/prod/bend some reeds on a couple harmonicas that had the reeds stuck...which is mainly where I took off one star. I probably would have taken off two stars but these bad boys are as close to in perfect tune as I've seen any harmonica out of the box. BOTTOM LINE: I'd say these are a step up from a Hohner Blues harp (the $10 ones) but probably not quite up there with the $30+ harps. Durability pending, these will be fantastic backup harmonicas for me and I'll probably use a couple of the keys as my main ones even (on my lesser-used keys). These are worth more than the price (probably worth double their price). If any of my fellow musicians have ideas on other great lower-cost harps, let me know! Thank you Reckless harmonicas! (p.s. they come with a sexy little box that seems like something poker chips would come in) ;) -Zack

Perfect gift
My son recently taught himself to play the harmonica on one that he found laying around the house so my husband and I decided to help develop his interest and get him a set for christmas. As he is still new and learning, we didn't want to get him anything overly expensive but i didn't want a piece of junk either. I read the reviews and this set seemed perfect. It arrived in an elegant looking case. The harmonicas were tossed around in the case but it was no big deal, just put them back in their slots and they looked nice. My son is pretty happy with them. He played for the family on christmas and I'm not a harmonica expert but they sound pretty good to me. I'm very happy with the purchase.

Good For The Price
I needed some cheap harps fast and Reckless fit the bill. The harps are well made, sound good and haven't given me a problem. One or two reeds are loose or broken, but for the price, if you're tight on cash or just beginning, this is a solid set! Delivery was prompt and the package was in good condition.

Great quality and great sound
These are very good harmonicas at a very fair price. They sound great and I am enjoying playing them. If you buy them you will need a small knife or something similar to get them out of the really nice padded box they come in as they are really difficult to remove. Other than that, I'd buy them again.

Wow!!!
These instruments are as good as anything I’ve played in their class! For an intermediate player like me, Hohner has always been my choice, so imagine my surprise to find these comparable to any Oskar I’ve played!!! What a great find. To say the price is unbeatable is an understatement for sure! SOOO easy to play and good warm tone. And the case they come in is just icing on the cake. I feel like I got the diatonic scale for the price of one harmonica...you better do this one!

Great price, great quality
I was impressed with the price, the appearance and the quality of these Harmonicas. I gave them as a gift to my best friend. He has cancer and playing his harmonicas helps him escape and find joy again. Unfortunately, he only had this set for a few days when his house was broken in to and they were stolen. I am thankful that Reckless is affordable enough that it won't take me too long to save my money again and buy a new set.
