I needed a good pair of scissors that could cut through thick card for some crafting. So I needed a pair that had a great cutting edge, but was also really solid.I've recently bought a load of 'Stanley' stuff, and been really impressed so I thought I'd just get their scissors. A little more expensive than most, but I think it was worth it.The handle is really solid, and the blades are held together very firmly by the hinge. The grips are moulded 'just right' so they're comfortable in your hand (if you're a right hander). Also, the blade is angled up slightly, so you can use them to cut along table-tops, to cut fabric and paper more easily.A great pair of scissors, and well worth the extra.

These scissors were larger than expected. They cut easily through most things. They are great for cutting large envelopes etc. They came with a free small pair, which are also very useful.

I bought these for cutting the membrane for my garden, to stop the weeds growing through.But after I finished doing that, I now use them for cutting anything in the 🏠 home.I.E. paper, plastic, cardboard and sticky tape

I used these so far for cutting Superfoil insulation and vinyl flooring and they have been excellent so far. Great value for money as they are lot expensive elsewhere.

I go through a lot of scissors because the screw that holds the blades in place always comes apart so I'm having to tighten it every 5 minutes and it's so irritating! These have a solid nut in the middle that is getting a little loose but at least it won't fall apart on me. It's still quite sharp after using it for a good couple of weeks and I use them a LOT.I'm very happy at this point and they arrived very quickly too. Thank you
