These are perfect to hang frames or mirrors on plasterboard walls. I have a large heavy mirror and 2 of these were enough to hold it very tightly on the plasterboard wall (one on each side). You will need to first dig a very small hole in the wall (I used another sharp screw). Then with the help of a screw driver, insert the sharp section of this one into the hole in a such a way that it's very tight. Then screw in the second section and it will expand behind the plasterboard and provide a very secure fitting for heavy items. Very useful and handy.

I've used these type of anchors for plaster board many times. These ones seem far to rigid and did not open when I turned the screw. Ended up making a big hole and a big problem as it dropped inside the wall. Very angry at this point in time. They work out at over 50p each. Not impressed at all.

Similar to a previous reviewer - I got around a 30% success rate with these. Most of the fittings did not tighten anywhere near fully, the nut thread just stripped. Cheap product & cheaply made. Look elsewhere...

Bought these to mount a TV on the wall, all was going well until I realised that the thread on all 4 anchors had been stripped while I was clamping them to the wall.Fortunately I had spares so snapped off the heads and pushed them through the wall. On the 2nd attempt I was much more careful not to overtighten and got the TV mounted.This product is fine, but the thread on the anchor is VERY small so it's easy to strip the thread and make the anchor useless. Be very careful not to overtighten when fastening the anchors to the wall.

Right now a couple of these are holding a 55 inch TV up on my wall - absolutely solid. You can't ask much more than that really. If they can hold that securely they'll hold anything else I cna throw at them.
