It's golden painted and not golden metal, also the white board looks cheap.

I love this look. These shelves are sturdy, easy to clean and easy to hang up. They hold bathroom essentials and decor very well, and even have a towel bar to hang a decorative hand towel there! I think these shelves were a great value and I will definitely be buying more when we re do our next bathroom worth buying.
