The media could not be loaded.  I was worried that because it is waterproof the lead would be sharp and hard to handle, but it is quite soft, whilst robust so winding it up is simple. it doesn’t tangle very much either, which is very useful. At the end of a walk, it can be just rinsed in the sink, dried with a cloth, and then wound up into its stuff bag which keeps it nice and neat and tidy, a larger stuff bag would be handy to put the unwound lead in after a walk because I generally switch to a short lead when we get to the road. This product is very useful for training, puppies, and young dogs it gives you the security you need when the recall is not yet 100% in exciting environments.Ideal for dry and muddy walks alike!

I was using lunge lines as long leads but, of course, these absorbed water and got very dirty and so needed 2 of them, one in use while the other dried out. So, set about finding an alternative. Came across biothane leads which were expensive and then found this one. Half the price and 2 weeks in, I can report that it’s a joy to use!! Robust - able to cope with my 30kg dog lunging at squirrels. Easy to clean, simply wipe it at the end of the walk. Lightweight to carry. Seems to be tangle proof. Highly recommend this if you want your dog to have a bit more scope for a sniffari!

It's not a first long line I'm using with my dogs, but after using it for a while and having a few situations I can say it's the best. First it's very handy to use. It doesn't tangling, isn't heavy to hold, and even in wet grass and water it's still the same weight as it doesn't take a water. Usually I was walking my dogs on ordinary lead and switched it to the long line for training only. Now it's easy to go with this one only as it's comfortable to hold it folded with one hand. Another thing is dogs safety. Thinner lines which also aren't so heavy in use are prone to tangle around longer grass, sticks and other objects and what's the worst around dogs legs causing injuries. This one isn't, so it makes using it safe and doesn't affect the fun. Now the reason I decided to write this review is the strength and great grip. My GSD cross is great but she doesn't like certain types of dogs, that's is the main reason for using long line, so I can stop her on time. Today the black dog (her favourite lol) appeared from nowhere. I saw it to late, when my girl was already speeding for it... And the line worked when I stepped on it! It didn't slipped from under my boot what happened to me before with other line (even when I've made the knots on it). So its sturdy enough to stop nearly 40kg of running dog 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼This leash is absolutely brilliant and I would recommend it to everyone.

I have had this for a couple of weeks and am using it training a cocker spaniel. It's lightweight and fairly soft and easy to handle. It's also easy to clean and wipe down. On the down side some crude has gotten into the clip and it has stuck open twice freeing the dog! A fairly good product but I would like the option of a small carabiner or a better quality clip.

Used the canvas ones for a long time and they ripped my hands apart!This is strong and love the fact I can quickly wipe it clean after every walk.It doesn’t hurt my hands and the speed release handle it’s brilliant and easy to use.Highly recommend

Just what I was looking for to train my puppy. Waterproof, bright colour, strong and the soft handle is great. Very easy to clean.

We used this lead (20m length) on a moorland walk with our spaniel today. Having the length we had meant that he could run and explore almost as if he was off-lead. It took a while to work out the best way to handle the lead without getting tangled up, but once we did that, it was quite easy to manipulate despite the length. I love the Velcro handle which not only gives more control over the dog, but helps keep the lead dry and clean, and the material is so much better than the previous long line we had, which ended up getting wet, dirty and heavy.
