Fish Mate 10000 PUV Pressurised Pond Filter, 5,000 LPH

Excellent product, works really well. Cleared the green water in my pond in around 10 days. Easy to use, just flick the switch and the sponges within are automatically pushed down and the dirty water runs out, I did mine every couple of days to begin with as the pond water was really green, but now just once a week, it’s so easy. Lovely crystal clear water now, great to be able to see my fish again.easy to install, did have a few drips of water on one of the outlets, but hubby put a bit of plumbers tape on the seal and it’s perfect.

I purchased this filter because my all in one pump,UVC, filter and fountain just wasn't doing the job, my water had gone pea green, couldn't see my fish and even changing the UV no difference. I purchased the Fish Mate 10000 UV & Bio Pond Filter on the 30th May 2020, delivered and installed the next day, by 9th June the algae had gone leaving a slight brown look, that is now also going and clear water is leaving the filter back into the pond. I am very pleased, have not used any additives to aid clearing and outside temperature has been relatively high with pond in sunlight for some of the day, my only regret is not taking any before pictures.

Delivered quickly and was exactly as described. I’ve replaced a sponge filter in a big black box that was ineffective with something 1/3 of the size. Fitter it to the existing pump and added a filter bomb to get the thing up and running quickly. 5 days later and my pond is clear and no longer green. Really impressive that it’s cleaned it up this quickly with the in-built UVC lamp and the filtration system. Will back-flush it this week (week 3) and see what comes out but overall this provides great pond filtration in a tiny package.

Positives :- This filter was a replacement for my old gravity type. The water in the pond is now clearer than ever and the filter is so easy to clean. Negatives:- Only one the connectors had slight leaks, his was fixed by using a small amount of PTFE tape on the threads, it would be a good idea to include this in the packaging.

Have only had it service for about 3 weeks but appears to a good product. Pond has cleared nicely at the moment but weather has been mostly cool an dull. Cleaning without having to open filter is a good feature however with a relatively small pond it does mean having to top up afterwards depending on how much dirty water is removed,

Impressed with the filtering and UV effectiveness. but the hose fittings are cheap and leak, they rely on friction fitting and no seals. it self gumms up but start again as soon as you move them

Worked perfectly brand new once started and cleaned my pond within 2 days but 6 months down the line the self cleaning mechanism has stopped working and filters also not working to clean the pond . Contacted the seller to have it repaired or replaced and waiting for their reply

Prima di dare una valutazione completa vorrei chiedere al venditore: e fra un anno, quando la lampada Uvc non funzionerà più, come farò a cambiarla? Tra l altro il filtro non ha neanche un adattatore (presa) di corrente, bensì 3 fili di rame scoperti! Bisogna quindi arrangiarsi e installare i fili in una presa (acquistandola da parte ovviamente). Attendo comunque la risposta del venditore, se mi risponderà.
