LIVOWALNY Tire Inflator Air Compressor Compatible with DeWalt 20V Battery Power, 160PSI Cordless Portable Electric Air Pump with Digital Pressure Gauge for Car Motorcycles Bike Ball Auto (Tool Only)

I rarely write these reviews, but this item impressed me so much that I wanted to share. I am in a wheelchair with high pressure tires that need frequent inflation. I will be comparing this with the actual Makita pump that I bought several years ago. That pump only inflates to 120 psi and there is another, much more expensive, model that does go to 160 psi (I don't recall if this was available when I bought the 120 version) so right off the bat this pump gives me an ability that the Makita doesn't. Note that either Makita pump is MUCH more expensive that this one. Here is a list of the comparison freatures: 1. The pump will actually pump to the desired pressure without having to hold the button (the Makita shuts off at the set pressure but you have to hold the button the whole time.) I had to use a velcro strap around the switch/handle to keep in on for a longer inflation like a car tire. 2. There are pre-programmed settings for pressures for different types of applications (car, bicycle, ball etc.) and the Makita has only one setting. 3. The actual pump is much more powerful and inflates much faster than the Makita. 4. The hose end has the ability to swivel which the Makita does not. This lets the hose point in a random direction instead of kinking and curling up on the Makita. Is it perfect? Not quite. It doesn't allow you to permanately change the settings for the different inflation types so I still need to adjust the pressure every time I want to air up my wheelchair tires as they are set for 140 psi and the 'bicycle' setting is at 30 psi. Note that the Makita does hold the pressure setting (only one setting) so I don't have to do this every time. Curiously, the accessories (inflation adapters) don't all fit in the places on the inflator that are provided, but this is not a big deal, just a small design oversight. Most people will probably not use these adapters anyway.

UPDATE (5/7/2026)- Many months and many uses later, this pump has been fantastic! The modes have a little room for improvement with respect to how they are designed but it is still easy enough to understand and use. This pump remains relatively quiet, pumps fairly quick, is easy to use, and has had not durability issues at all; I love it! ORIGINAL- Purchased for our mountain bike tires and our cars, this pump has so far exceeded my expectations. It fits my dewalt 20v batteries perfectly! The motor seems to operate without too much effort, on both bike tires and my car tires. It can bump a bike tire from 15 to 25psi in well several seconds and it inflated my car tires from 36-42psi in about a minute or so as well, I wasn't timing, but it was quick. And again, the pump didn't seem to strain on either. It is easy to use. It has 4 modes, I guess this is to store pre-set pressures which could be handy but its easy enough to set the pressure I want. I do like that it has memory though, so I don't have to set my pressure starting from zero each time. This is somewhat limiting as some modes have upper and lower limits; for example, I think the motorcycle mode has a lower limit of 20psi. For me, that limiting is not useful as I inflate our dirtbike tires to pressures less than 20psi. This isn't an issue, but it makes the motorcycle mode useless for me. It seems well built, not flimsy. It has a threaded end for a Schrader which I was able to screw my Schrader to quick Presta adapter into for our bikes. I think it came with an adapter for Presta valves but I'd recommend getting a quick adapter that "clamps" onto the Presta rather than threading on. I've been wanting one of these for a while, I'm glad I bought this one and the price of $30 was great. I have had it for a few months now, use it frequently, and so far I am very happy with this pump.

Easy to use and a powerful air tool. It fits my Milwaukee tool batteries so it is to use. One of the neat features is that you can set how much air you need in your tires and it has an automatic shut off when it reaches the correct value.

Rather than having to drag an air hose from my garage compressor, I love the portability of this little tool. You can set the desired tire pressure, and it automatically stops when it reaches that pressure. It uses my DeWalt 20v style batteries, like most of my other tools. TWO MINOR COMPLAINTS: 1) The coupling between main hose & the clamp-on nozzle extension often comes loose, causing an air leak. I wish it would stay tight. I might try some blue Loctite thread locker... 2) It DOES NOT WORK well if stored at low temperatures. With the recent cold snap, I needed to top off our car tires. I took this device from my 20-30F garage & used it. It seemed to be working, but did NOT pump much air at all. I brought it inside for a few hours to warm up, and then it worked fine. I suspect there are some rubber or flexible plastic seals inside that become stiff when cold.

2 outta 2 burned up! 1st one filling tire, started sounding weird and smellin' bad like somethin's cookin' internally. I grabbed it to turn it off and it's hotter than the devil's rearend. Removed battery and let it cool overnight. Though I was pretty sure it's an oversize paperweight at this point, I threw a battery on it... that pretty digital display came up and when we hit the "go" button the ole Livowalny said nope, natta, no way. Well, maybe I got a bad one! I returned for a hassle free replacement, dropping the super cooked tool off at Staples and Amazon shipped me a new one. Super Simple! Got the replacement. Box was smashed like Ace Ventua delivered the darn thing. Inflator seemed to have survived the abuse unscathed. So, 1st time I use this new replacement, I'm filling an 18" rear tire on an F250 that is sitting at 30lbs. Target is 65psi. It don't even hit 50psi and starts sounding like a Dodge on it's last leg. I rushed over to shut the lil feller off and there's that familiar, pungent odor that reminds me of the devil? No CPR! You could cook an egg on this thing! So I let it cool over night, add battery, display comes on... aaaaand it's a "no go" when we hit the go button. 2 inflators vs 2 tires. Tires win, inflators dead, and ole HiTek is left with double returns, a burning smell he can't get outta his nose, and 2 flat tires. Seriously though, no 3rd try. Unlike several of the other Chinese Dewalt compatible power tools that I've had success with, this inflator looks good, feels good, but unless you're into frying eggs on the side of the road next to your flat tire don't buy this thing.

This little thing actually works real good. I have a one ton dually and used it to air up a completely flat 37” front tire right out of the box. Got it up to 50 psi in about 10-12 minutes. Not the same speed and power as a compressor obviously, but in a pinch you can’t beat it. I work in the oilfield where compressors are not always available, this thing has yet to disappoint.

This is a review of the Livowalny brand cordless electric inflator for use with 20-volt DeWalt rechargeable batteries. First of all, I will give my impression of the product, then will go over many complaints, some deserved and some not. The pump, also known as the model CZK-3694 cordless tire inflator, is handy and lightweight. I purchased it to add a few pounds of pressure to underinflated auto tires to turn that infamous government-mandated TPMS lamp off. You see, I am not as young as I once was, and getting a serious pump out of the boot, unpacking it, extend the coiled hose, connecting clips to the car battery, and then leaning over to attach the schrader connector is not particularly fun. A heavy-duty style of pump is great for total flat situations, but I wanted something that was ready to go and could easily put a few pounds of extra pressure into a non-flat tire. The CZK-3694 is perfect for that. I can put an extra 10 PSI into a tire in a couple of minutes. Just set it and walk away while it automatically shuts off at the desired pressure. This would also be a wonderful timesaver for inflating multiple bicycle tires or basketballs. Perfect! But, unlike its bigger brothers, this pistol-grip pump has no exterior cooling fins, just a small internal fan. It has no other way to dump heat. The included instruction manual reads "It is recommended to turn off the product and let it cool for 5 to 10 minutes for every 10 minutes of use". Frankly, I would stop every 6 or 7 minutes and let it cool for 10. It is certainly possible for it to fully inflate a totally flat tire but understand that it may take a while, and you need to give it time to dissipate the heat. Now to address the complaints.... Some report it will not turn on. You have to pull the trigger three times when first turned on. This could be an undocumented safety feature to avoid unplanned operation or protect children. Others say they received it with no battery. While one configuration of the same pump does come with battery and charger, the other Livowalny DeWalt selection says shipped WITHOUT BATTERY. Complaints about it not being made by DeWalt. The brand clearly says Livowalny with FIT for DeWalt battery. (Or options for Mikita or Milwaukee) Another complaint is that it would not inflate above 60 PSI. Well, this one I blame on unclear instructions. There are 5 modes, each with its own pressure range. For example, automotive mode is 20 to 60 PSI. To pump to 160 pounds, you must select the custom mode with no indicator LED which will pump from 3 to 160 PSI. I am including photographs with modes and pressure range for each mode. And the final complaint I will address is meltdown. The item description does say that it could continuously work for 20 minutes. Perhaps if you pour liquid nitrogen over it. Otherwise, go with the limit printed in the manual and let it cool down often. Livowalny should change that in the Amazon description immediately. In summary, I like the product a lot and highly recommend it for topping off and the occasional full flat. But... it is only suitable for light duty use.

So far this little tire inflator works great. I've been trying to use the heck out of it before the return policy ends. I went around and aired up everything I could, cars, pickup, motorhome, trailer, ATV, if it needs air I've been using this. Haven't broke it yet. The pressure setting doesn't seem to be very accurate. But a quick check with the gauge and your good. It's really convenient to just set a pressure and walk away, then it turns off automatically. One thing to note is when you're compressing air it generates heat, so the hose gets pretty hot if you're airing up a larger tire. I let it cool off in-between tires. Keep in mind this is not a 5-hp compressor, so if you're thinking it'll air a tire up in seconds you'll be disappointed, but if you have a few minutes to wait, it'll get the job done. Works great on airbags or something with a small capacity. Very convenient that it uses the battery's that I already have. Overall it works really good if you don't abuse it and use it for occasional inflations.

Works great with M18 Milwaukee batteries. Easy to use, just pull the trigger to start and it automatically shuts off when it hits the set pressure on the back display.

Impressive little unit, from riding mower tires to flat deck trailers and vehicles this pumps it up quick. Customer support was fantastic with my small issue that I had.

Finally got a chance to try out this inflator on my bicycle . Fits my Makita 18V battery perfectly . I love how you can program the pressure and it automatically stops once it reaches that amount. I have not tried it on my car or motorcycle yet but I am assuming it will be fine . I wish I bought this handy tool earlier .

Better then I expected

It's not perfect, but man, set it, walk away, come back to a full tire... Take it with you with a charged battery on road trips... Inflate balls.... I use with 5ah, my dad bought one and used a 3ah.... I can do a lot with the 5ah, but wouldn't recommend the 3 for larger tires like pickups and bigger...
