It balances your guitar and takes away shoulder fatigue.
For me it was a game changer for heavy bass guitars. The only thing thing I didn't care for much is it rubs the neck. This is not a problem if you wear a shirt with a collar. I tuck mine like a tie. It's a very good product.

It has really helped my shoulder
This strap has really helped take the pressure off my bad shoulder. It makes my guitar sit at a better angle when I stand and play. I don't twist my body so much when I sit and play. The only problem I had with it is that the minimum length it goes to is still a bit too big for me. But I have fixed that problem with a couple of safety pins. I do have to keep tightening the straps up more often than my last strap but it's not often enough to annoy me. Where the straps cross around the neck can get a bit sharp. I suppose that's just the material used. Or maybe because I have it tighten up to the max. But apart from that my shoulder thanks the makers of this product. If you made one with a different material and size adjustment and charged extra for the cost. I'd happily buy one. It really has saved my shoulder. My guitar feels lighter and I don't have to stop playing because my shoulder hurts. Thanks.

Pretty good
Build quality on this strap is pretty low, but not terrible. It's similar to what you'd get on the cheap strap rack at your local music store. It's fine, though - it'll probably last for years (I've never had a strap break on me or anything). You may want to invest in straplocks, though. The good news: it does pretty much what it says it does, and it I think it is well-designed. I had no trouble whatsoever getting it adjusted to fit my needs, and am curious as to why other reviewers reported problems on this. The weight is now evenly distributed over both of my shoulders, and it makes a real difference! Shoulder discomfort was distracting to me before, but now I don't notice it any more. This strap also puts my bass in a slightly different position than a regular strap in a way I like. It encourages your top strap button (on the upper horn of your guitar) to be closer to the middle of your chest (where the two shoulder straps meet) as opposed to more over on the left side of your body. For the way I like to play, this is an improvement over a regular strap. This product gets four stars because of the cheap construction. If there were a more rugged, plusher version of this strap (with a little padding, maybe), I'd grab it in a heartbeat. As it stands, I will not go back to regular straps (even nicer ones). The price is right, so try it out!

Needs work
There should be something to spread the strap away from your neck, so it doesn't ride up and pinch your jugulars, and the damn snap in front is way under-engineered. Unreliable, it will unsnap with any slight movement.

Basic solution for a complicated problem
Great price point. Long-time brand user, but feel let down for the application on a very heavy (11+lbs) Les Paul. Had hopes to distribute weight to both shoulders, but it is difficult to adjust without someone else setting the straps once in preferred playing position. Additionally, the straps (still) seemed too narrow to help distribute the weight on the shoulders. Found I preferred a 3.5" wide, padded, single strap versus this product. Might work fine for guitar/basses that are sub-10lbs.

Design/materials not appropriate for many guitars
I had high hopes for this strap, which is basically a good design, but it has two fatal problems for me.1. The large metal snap is placed so that it will scratch most guitars. Only a solid-body electric with an upper strap button on the top cutaway, as shown in the pictures, will avoid this. On a heel button, the snap will rub on the finish. Not what I want on an SG, Les Paul, archtop, or acoustic.2. The leather endpieces are so stiff that I was afraid I would yank the strap buttons out of the guitar, both when putting them on and later when removing them (before returning the item). Moreover the stiff leather is another likely source of scratches. So basically: If you don't care about scratches, or if you have a strap button like the one shown, this can work for you. But otherwise beware.
