I've been moving some stuff between states using a little cargo trailer. Its a 12 hour drive. On the first trip, i bought a brand new "regular" 8x10 tarp blue poly tarp. It was pretty much ruined by the time i got there.Ive used this tarp for 2 more similar trips, and it still has much life in it.Heavy duty! Love it.

Impressed with the heavy duty material used but caused this product to be very heavy

This guy is a beast. I got the 8' x 10' size because I intend to turn this into a rain shelter that I can attach to the rear of my truck (for a fraction of the price of an off-the-shelf solution). It weighs over 8 pounds! To that end, I wouldn't recommend this for "general" tarp duties because it would simply be overkill and cumbersome to move around. However, for shelter jobs it can't be beat.Describing it as "canvas" is a little misleading, at least to me, since it's all synthetic from the fibers to the coating. This is a plus in my book, because as long as you don't trap water in it, mildew should never be an issue! There are minor weaving defects in the fabric here and there when you look closely, but I don't think that will ever be an issue due to the silicone backing.The included paracord-style rope was a nice touch. I'm very happy with this product and hopefully will get some camping use out of it this year.

The tarp material is very good, the tarp itself is two pieces seemed together.Why would you spend almost $50 for a quality 8x10 heavy duty tarp that is not asolid pieces of material. This should be sold as a second for half the price.

The tarp that arrived appears to be well made. The edges are rolled for extra support all the way around the tarp, and the material is very thick and feels like it will be durable. It comes with heavy duty rope to tie it down with.We used it the first time to cover a round bale of hay when we had 2 days of rain. It kept the round bale dry and stayed in place when it was tied. We are now using it to cover equipment and it is doing a great job.This feels like a really nicely made tarp. The seams were very well stitched and it has grommets as extra security for tying. It is very thick and really feels like it is going to hold up well with use on the farm.

This is a pretty nice tarp.I have not seen this material before, it is shown as being "virgin polyester". on the one side that faces weather it appears almost as canvas. The reverse side is best described as smooth and rubber-like.The material is simply folded over at each edge, with a captured cord of some type forming an edge bead. Very robust grommets are placed along the edge and each corner has the grommet plus a triangular black plastic reinforcement.I have no doubt this will be perfectly waterproof and be a big help in getting through the rainy winter here in Northern California.The real factor that remains to be seen is of course longevity/ UV resistance, and as second, the rubber faced inside might not be a good match for certain painted or plastic surfaces, so I would not cover a car with a nice paint job or such without some intermediate covering to prevent any plastic to plastic, or plastic to paint reactions.It is very heavyweight and weighty, about the same as a true canvas tarp, so it will stay put to a fair degree without needing to be secured.Comes with a measure of paracord as well

We really love our heavy duty canvas tarp because it protects our patio furniture from the elements. The heavy duty tarp is plenty big to cover a large area and I like that it well built with reinforced edging. We have plans to use our tarp all year and this will help keep our grills from the elements and also protect our patio furniture. Excellent product and definitely recommended.
