Men, on boats, killing each other = gold
Forget some camp manifestation of Johnny Depp, these guys and the feller that hunted them make Chuck Norris look like a fairy cake. Crazy tales of men carrying 300 kg of wood for miles just for the crack and getting annoyed not because someone shot them in the mouth but because they can't find a pen to write down the insults they would normally shout at each other. This is not some wooden leg parrot wearing romp, this is high seas badassery. Sailor toff's on their yatchs in chinos devalue a profession based on theft, violence and the biggest balls that ever swung between a man's legs. These guys ate cannon balls for breakfast with zero f#@&s given for the gallows, the royal navy or whether or not you read this book.
