Fourth Wing: DISCOVER THE GLOBAL PHENOMENON THAT EVERYONE CAN'T STOP TALKING ABOUT!

So I was looking for the special edition for the extra content of Xaden’s POV, which already sold out. I AM SHOCKED when I found out that this book also have them. Which I wasn’t aware about until I got it. The content is about Xaden’s Jealousy, ladies. So run for it now!

Hooked from the start! Could not read it faster. Absolutely loved it.

Arrived on time without any damages.The size of the book itself was short,but other that its a good buy.

Came a lot earlier ordered at 9pm and came the next day at 10am , the book came in not bad condition )

Received the holiday edition in a great condition and it’s just perfect

It’s slightly damaged it’s bearable and not that 5 but I know some people care a lot about that stuff. It’s also a bit larger than most books as in it’s taller but I don’t mind that. It has really nice sprayed edges (free of charge) which makes it look really nice to display on bookshelves. It didn’t read the book yet but I heard really nice reviews on it.

fourth wing is sooooo good so interesting i felt like i was watching a movie i love how there were trials def getting iron flame i didn't think i would like it because dragon collage but nope i ate it uppp finished it in one day but i hateddddd how small this specific version of the book was my fault tho for not properly checking the book was smaller then my head words were very small still loved it this time i will properly check before buying iron flame also ate up all the edits . this book is basically about a girl named violet who trained all her life to be a scribe basically a librarian in there world but her mom the head of the dragon collage was like nar no daughter of mine will be a scribe you will be a dragon rider everyone in the book is like no violet is small and petite she wont survive well she did end up surviving and when she was there she met xayden who's dad was a rebel and her mom killed his dad so he basically hates her mom so ofc there enemies 😉violet has to train and survive the trials get a dragon and try not to die and lots of tention and spice is like 🌶/5 i mean it was spicy but they didn't go in details .

I just received the book and i am in love with it! I ordered it expecting the book to be a normal hardcopy but i was in shock when i opened my package! I got the sprayed edges copy with dragons and im so loving it! The book is in a good condition, the dust jacket has a little bit wrinkles at the corners but its okay not that bad!

Item came in good condition except for the top of the sprayed edges has some flaws.

(Third read – 2025/01) Hardcover review: This is my third read of FOURTH WING and while my thoughts are fairly similar to the first two times I’ve read this novel, I do think it’s important to jot down a few new thoughts. I loved picking up on things I may have missed or glossed over the first two times I read as well as picking up on things that are relevant in book 2, <i>Iron Flame</i>. There are some scenes that still hit just as hard no matter that you’re now expecting them to happen. I love Xaden in this book, and my special edition does have a couple of the chapter’s in his POV which is something I would have liked to see more of. Violet is great and all, but a dual or multiple POV would slap so much harder. (Second read – 2023/06) Audiobook review: It is safe to say that this book is just as good the second time around... and I will without a doubt be purchasing myself a copy to re-read when the second book hits shelves in November. My biggest qualm with FOURTH WING as an audiobook was the narrator. I very nearly stopped listening to the audiobook copy because it sounded like the female narrator was sick for the better part of the novel. Some parts of the book made this more evident than others. Nevertheless, still an enjoyable listen despite this. (First read – 2023/06) E-book review: I saw this book was blowing up Bookstagram and decided to jump on it right now despite the potential for it being over-hyped. I was so gratified to learn that the hype is absolutely justified. FOURTH WING has taken the bookish community by storm - and it is entirely worth it. It is truly a phenomenal read... and I deeply encourage you to get yourself a copy if you haven't done so already! I sure will be, because reading the library's copy won't be enough! In case you've been living under a rock and have never seen nor heard about FOURTH WING, it's about Violet Sorrengail, a twenty year old woman, who was supposed to enter the Scribe Quadrant at Basgiath War College. That is until her mother, the commanding general, orders her to join the Riders Quadrant. Violet's chances may seem limited, partly because she hasn't been training for very long due to her entire lack of intention of joining the dragon riders... but also because she's her mother's daughter and many would love to kill her for that reason alone. There's only two ways out of this predicament - graduate or die. I will likely struggle to relate anything about this novel that hasn't already been said as well as navigate my speechlessness on how amazing this book was... but I will write a review nevertheless. Rebecca Yarros excelled at creating a rich and tangible world with characters that are realistic and relatable. Violet as our FMC is perfect. She's portrayed as someone whose got the deck stacked against her - she has a chronic illness, she never wanted to be a rider, and she is 'petite' compared to the other typical rider statures. She's also described as weak, fragile, vulnerable, etc. All of these things are seen as a likely death sentence for her, but she turns them into strengths by using her best asset to her advantage - her brain. She is smart, brave, and cunning. She thinks outside the box, she's down-to-earth, loyal and friendly. I honestly couldn't get enough of her and can't wait to see what the next book in the series will bring for her. The secondary characters are each very well done and crucial in making this book as successful as it is in my eyes. I don't want to give anything away in regards to the plot, but I quickly fell in love with each character that was encountered because they are all so well written and lovable. The dragons cannot be left out of this comment because they are truly exceptional... and they may be my favourites of the book by far with their wry humour and sarcastic comments. I thought the dragons to be unique and so interesting - I am so curious to learn more about their world, their powers, etc. Enemies to lovers romance? COUNT. ME. IN. This was so so well done and I absolutely adore how it all played out. Xaden Riorson stole my heart early on and may live up to be my favoite book boyfriend ever. There are a couple spicy scenes - well placed and well done, might I add, but I think they could be skipped if that's not your jam without impacting the enjoyment of the novel. The plot is fast-paced with lots of tension and action that kept me flipping the pages long after I was tired. The world-building was vivid and descriptive without being too overwhelming or confusing. The intricate storylines were truly well done and I didn't see half of what came at me coming. Proceed with caution though, I found myself sobbing through the last 15-20% of this novel while Rebecca mercilessly ripped out my heart and dragged me kicking and screaming to the show-stopper of an ending. Is it November yet?! This is without a doubt a novel and characters whom will stay with me for a long time... and will absolutely guarantee a re-read in the near future! One of my favourite books this year - easy.

I have previously had no encounter with a Rebecca Yarros novel, though the prospect of diving into a book showered with overwhelming acclaim did give rise to a touch of apprehension. What if my expectations were too high? However, the persistent curiosity surrounding this book left me with no choice but to take the plunge. Luckily, fate smiled upon me. From the very outset, 'Fourth Wing' ensnared my attention, refusing to release its grip until the very last page. This novel is an irresistible escapade. Violet's journey commences abruptly as she finds herself thrust into the perilous Riders Quadrant, a stark departure from her envisioned sanctuary in the Scribe Quadrant amidst books. With a physical fragility that seemingly marks her for demise, she becomes an unlikely contender in a place where survival is a fierce battle. Undeterred, Violet channels her tenacity into relentless efforts to fortify herself. Gifted with intellect, she navigates the challenges, becoming adept at outsmarting those around her. In a cutthroat environment where trust is scarce, distinguishing allies from foes becomes a daunting task. Enter Xaden Riorson, the formidable wingleader in the Riders Quadrant, whose power and ruthlessness make him a force to be reckoned with. However, buried beneath his dominance lies a deep-seated vendetta fueled by the shadows of the past—Violet's mother having played a pivotal role in the demise of his father. 'Fourth Wing' effortlessly encapsulates everything I adore in a book—fantasy, romance, suspense, and unexpected twists. Returning to the realm of fantasy after a brief hiatus, I relished every facet of this narrative—the dragons, the magic, and the harsh yet captivating world that held me in its grasp. The story lingered in my thoughts throughout the day, a testament to its compelling characters and intricate plot. And the romance, an exquisite torment! It left me yearning for more, and the ending spurred me to hastily order the next instalment. 'Fourth Wing' effortlessly earns a place on my favourites list—a resounding five-star rating and the easiest decision of the year.

I never write reviews, but now I have to. This book is like heroin! You start, and you can't put it down any more. You can't focus on reality, your work, you just want to go back into the World of Basgiath. You fall in love with Xaden, though he doesn't even exist. You turn the pages, and you only have relief when he is present. I don't know if he is a traitor, but I want to trust a dragon's instinct. I was looking for a book for a long time, and I was very sceptic ordering it, with the reassurance, that I can return it any time. It won't go anywhere!!! The only thing I would mention, that there are a bit too much wear word at the first sex action. And I would never use the expression of 'f. me', when a woman asks a man to make love with her. It just humilates womenkind.
