Will it protect my hands from a hot glue gun?

not if you touch the heating element part of the hot glue gun. but if you use the glue gun in an appropriate manner, the gloves should be fine.

These state they are silicone free, but are the latex free?

The previous answer stated that no latex was added. That is NOT the same thing as latex-free.

Are these gloves useful for handling/cutting stained glass?

Yes. I bought them to move sheet glass in my studio because I was tired of cutting myself. No more cuts.

They are not waterproof. Breathable micro foam nitrile rubber coated on the palm and fingertips. But they protect my hands while working in light oily surface with excellent grip. Once I wore them in scuba diving and found they’re very tightly fit and comfortable with power grip under water.
